2007 AAA rates

Does anyone know if the AAA rates for 2007 have been released yet, if not when were they released last year

Package rates for 2007 are due out mid-august according to my AAA agent.

A friend of mine is planning a trip for next summer. He spoke to AAA and CRO. AAA told him that they couldn't give him a price yet.

CRO gave him a quote, probably based on the 2007 room-only rates and the current pricing for package add-ons. The CM at CRO also said that 2007 package rates will be available in mid-August. Since AAA's rates are based off of what Disney sets, you will probably need to wait until sometime in mid- to late- August.

I assume that poster meant when have they been previously released for the following year.

Meaning last year they were released at the end of June for this year, yet we have yet to see what is going on for next year.

I went ahead and booked our rooms at the WL for our January trip since the standard view rooms go so quick there, but I plan to apply a AAA discount the second it becomes available. We need 3 rooms for this trip so it would really save some money!!

I've never been a AAA member but am considering joining for the discount this year. We are going for 8 (maybe 9) nights in July 2007, about how much would I save total when booking a package? Would it be worth it to join for the discount.

In Value season at a Deluxe you will save 15% off on the rack rate. If you want a AAA room discount with a package you have to book directly with AAA. If you just want room-only then you can book a AAA discounted room directly through CRO.

So if we are going to stay 9 nights at WL at 240 per night and I would book through AAA 15% would be 324 off, so if I minus out 60 dollars for the AAA fee it would be $264 savings which would be worth it, it is one night free. Thanks!

I asked the same question earlier this spring--from what I understand, you can call AAA and they can take over the reservation for you and that's how you can get the AAA discounted room rate, plus add the dining if you decide you want a package. Hope that helps.

wait, let me see if I understood this correctly! AAA can take over a CRO basic package ressie, or was that just room only?

This only applies if you are not wanting to book a AAA package. You can book AAA room only rates thru CRO but have to go thru AAA for AAA packages
