20060902--Eastern Sept 2nd, 2006

I just got home from work so my vacation has officially started. Now all I have to do is pack clothes, clean house, clean pool, cut grass, take out trash, gas up the car, find our travel documents, make sure the camera is charged, ect....
Sometimes the first day of a vacation feels a little like work.

Anybody know which night is formal and which is the semi-formal?

Formal should be Sunday. Semi-Formal should be Thursday.

AHEM! If you'll look back, you'll find that I was trying to find out about those beaches so I could AVOID them!
Oh my virgin eyesssssssss.... er... eye....

Argggggggggg pirate:

I'll let you know how they are :cool1:

Well, my vacation has officially begun. Today was not fun though. I was getting so many emails on so many different matters I thought an alarm was going to go off on my computer. Glad today is over. And, all my plans of leaving very early evaporated as my DDs started a melt down over having to clean EVERY part of the house before we leave. So.... we are now leaving at 10 am.

BTW, for anyone who still has time to do this. We got a pirate eyepatch and fake pirate earing in one package at Wal-Mart for $1. Unfortunately, that is going to be about the extent of my costume as I did not have any opportunity to look for anything else in trying to get everything done to get ready to go.

They were already putting out the Halloween costumes and the eye patch was with the costumes.

Woohoo! On my way!!!!! Gotta get suntan lotion anyway...

this might sound crazy. but, how long do we think the DIS meet will last, and how about the sail away party? Has anyone seen the all aboard show, can we miss it?

here's why... DD will really need a nap if we're going to make it thru late dinner and send her to the kids' club in the evening. i'm trying to figure out when there's time to squeeze in 30-45 min of rest and it seems like teh day is jammed with things to do!

thoughts?

ps- already can't sleep and we don't leave until tomorrow- have been awake since 5:30. i guess i'll probably need a nap tomorrow too!

Were off to the Airport.

See you all on board!

Brian, Lisa, Katie (4 in 22 days) and Emily (2 next month)

Were leaving for the airport in under two hours! Hyatt tonight. Magic tomorrow.

My daughter earlier in the week had a 103" temperature, but everything cleared up.

Last morning at work, leave here at 11:30 EDT. We fly out in the morning, hopefully without any delays from the remains of Ernesto coming near Philly.

DH and I flew down yesterday...we're staying at Cape Caribe. DH saw the Wonder sail out of port yesterday...unfortunately I was sleeping. And no, he did not get any pictures. He's going to get up early tomorrow morning to see if he can catch the Magic coming into port. Anyone know what time that might be?

See y'all soon! :cool1:

Just got through packing the car. The kids usually get home from school by 3:30. We plan on leaving about 4. So I am thinking about 4:30. We never leave on time.

Thanks. I found some their today.

We just finished packing the car. It is going to be tight. 8 people and luggage. Thank goodness we only have a 4 hour drive. The kids might have to hold some things on their laps. If we buy too much on the cruise we might have to leave some things behind. But it is worth it!!!
