Last year when I went to DTD I went to Ghiradelli's first. I figured I was on vacation & I wanted a root beer float, and I would have one! Then I went to Earl's and ate one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

If I eat at Flame Tree I will most likely get the Smoked Turkey Breast Sandwich with some onion rings, which I normally don't eat but I saw a pic and they looked good.

If it's Tusker House I will probably get the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
They both sound good.

I haven't been to AK since 1999. I don't remember where we ate that day. So I can't wait to try either of them--mac recommends both of them. Beth, I think I would choose the same things you did!

Wow, that has been awhile. We just went last Nov. but before that the last time we were there was in 99 as well. May to be exact.

I've only been to WDW three times, once in April of 1989 for a senior class trip with DH who was then my boyfriend. Then we went about 10 years later in May of 1999 with two kids, and then just last November with four kids.

This will be my 4th time. :teeth:

We used to hit Disneyland all the time so flying all the way to WDW just wasn't something DH wanted to do very often. This last time we drove, and stayed offsite, otherwise DH probably wouldn't have wanted to go.

He is not the fan I am. lol He should be set now for another 5-10 years!!! :rolleyes:

Visitors to Kali River Rapids travel in groups of twelve on large circular rafts down the Chakranadi River. While traveling down the river, the rafts encounter waterfalls - both going down one and going under one. The raft spins, so it is impossible to know which side of the raft will get wet. Tip - The sign out front says you will get wet. It should be corrected - YOU WILL GET SOAKED!!! Bring an extra set of clothes - including underwear - for after this ride. Also, you are no longer allowed to take your socks and shoes off, so plan accordingly. Keep your feet above the silver ring to avoid getting totally soaked.

I don't think I will go on this. I have been on these type of rides before and while I like the ride, I hate walking around soaking wet for the next few hours. And bringing a change of clothes is too much hassle for me.
I can't wait to see others on it though.... :teeth:

Beth since the AK has the SUPER hand dryers you can be dry in no time at all.

I'm planning to ride this right before I leave AK. And then I'll go back to my room to change.
