WOOHOO!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

Just getting caught up here - not an easy feat with an active baby wanting all the attention these days. ;)

Is that any way to talk about David. :rotfl2:

   I was in need of a good cry.

This is the one that hit me the most. Besides my two children, I know for a fact of one person who wouldn't be here today had they not reached out to me when they were at their lowest point in life. Lower than anyone could ever be -- on the verge of suicide. I personally helped this person through her darkest hour and moved on with my life. Fortunately, she moved on with her own -- getting the help that she so desperately needed.

Up until this moment, I knew I helped her through that time, but I never realized the impact that had. WOW!

That's wonderful Cindy and definately something to be proud of! I know you will be repaid for that many times over.

That's ok Cindy, we like seeing you here any time that you can make it.

And, I still can't believe that you don't like chocolate. That's a girls best friend. That's ok, I'll just take all of yours. :rotfl2:

None of us are really chocolate fans. In fact, Walker will peel the chocolate off of a Mickey bar in order to get to the vanilla ice cream underneath. :mickeybar Cameron & Gary prefer dark chocolate. Gary is probably the biggest chocolate eater in our house. :)

Ok, now I realized that I really AM basically talking to myself. Oh well.

Hey guys, we have a friend that has been reading this thread. Hi Tim & Michelle. They are our friends that just joined DVC and they are still considering this cruise. Chris keeps trying to tell them how fun it is, but I don't think that we have them convinced. They have 2 kids, Clark is not quite a year older than Emily and Cassie is just a few weeks younger than Maddie. So, I know that they will have a blast on this cruise.

Come on guys, come out of the woodwork and say HI. I promise, this group does NOT bite (except for Diana and she doesn't bite hard). :rotfl2:

Everyone say HI to Tim & Michelle!!!!

Hi Tim & Michelle!!

We've pulled lurkers out before on the last cruise thread. If you don't post soon, there will eventually be something that makes you come out. I think the last time was all the talk of foot fetishs, pedicures and blinkies that pulled out a few who were just lurking.

Truly, we don't bite (except Diana but you already were warned about that :teeth: :rotfl2: ). :flower:

Oh come Julie, you are a woman, and women are queens at multitasking! I'm sure you can do it! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I have faith in you too, Julie!!! Just speed dial on all 3 phones and it shouldn't be that hard. ;) ;) Of course, that's easy for me to say. :rotfl2:

I'm up in the air about staterooms. Help! What should I try for? We normaly cruise in cat5 but I'm open to saving points too.Inside, outside ooooh the ????s :confused3 :confused3

Chris, it's just you and Mike, right? No kids this time?

We decided for the verandah because last time Gary & Walker were asleep and Cameron & I sat on the verandah with room service late one night. It's a nice place to "escape" without really leaving the room.

Would I prefer to not sail over not having a verandah --- definately not! As long as we can fit in the room, it won't really matter to us. If I were truly, truly trying to do this the least expensive way, I would go for the least expensive category out there. JMHO.

Good luck. It will work out whatever you decide. :flower:

The advice I gave Cindy last year is that a Cat 5 and a Cat 6 are the same except for the deck they are on. So you could save a few points going to a Cat 6.

Will it be the whole family again? So you will need two rooms right? Your boys are old enough you could look at doing a Cat 6 for you and DH and a Cat 11 across the hall for the boys.

Or do adjoining rooms in a cat 8.

Or if you are real lucky you could try for adjoining SPH rooms.

Don't know if any of that helped or not.

Isn't it nice to know you can count on your friends to be honest??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Mary, thanks for the story AND reminder. I think it's important to remember what's really important all year long, not just during the holidays. But sometimes we get so caught up in the "what"s that we forget about the "why"s and "who"s and it takes the holiday season to get us back on track. :) HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

I'll miss you if you aren't in the room next to me across the hall! And Julie needs to be across the hall next to you! Can't we just call DCL and say all the same rooms as last year and we can add all our new friends around us?

Works for me - saves time from figuring out how to dial and listen to all our phones :rotfl2:

I know, it is eerie, isn't it?!?! I'm telling you, somehow we are long, lost sisters or cousins or something. :rotfl2:

We only have 2 phones here, since I don't have a cell phone anymore. We have our regular phone and Chris's cell phone, so we'll have to go with that. However, I've been tempted to have my mom come over with her phone, so that we can have 3. But, she has to work on Saturday, so no chance of that anymore. I guess that I'll have to take my chances with only 2.

Yes, but is she :maleficen Amy or I? Because I think this one resembles me more  :rotfl2:

Well, we did our first cruise in a cat 6, because we didn't feel like paying extra just to be on a different deck for the same room. Then, on the last member cruise, we got a SPH room. Excellent on the points, if you don't mind an obstructed porthole. And, I think that I could handle an inside room too, but I do like the split bath, so I think that the lowest category that we would do would be a cat 10.
