:cheer2: :cheer2: Congratulations on #1300, Amy!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

We are done with decorating. Here's a shot of our fireplace. Probably the only thing Disney one would find in our house. :(

oooohhhh, will I get post #1300???

Anyway, we're back from the Bucs game. Disappointing for the Bucs, but great for my original hometown team, the Bears!!! We had a great time, but it took us an hour to get from the stadium to the highway to get home. Oh well, the tragedies of game-day traffic.

Everyone's decorations look great!!! I'll post a picture, if & when, we ever get around to getting our tree up.

Oh Cindy, I love the stockings!! :flower:

Greetings, friends! :wave2:

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and that the illnesses that have been floating around are on their way out.

I really want to thank everyone for their words of encouragement regarding the possible separation that Curt and I are facing. Hopefully, we'll get good news this week! We have sooooo many people thinking good thoughts for us, it doesn't seem possible that it might not go our way! Stay tuned... :listen:

The pictures that have been posted of the decorations are great! We usually put our tree up about a week before Christmas. We live with my Dad (we moved in when my Mom became ill, and never left after she died - my Dad would not do well living alone), and he doesn't get into holidays like we do. Oh well. Someday we'll be normal adults with a home of our own, and then the tree will go up early! :bounce:

Less than a week away now... Yippee!!! pirate:

And it would be great to have a Michigan meet - let me know when!!!

And Karen - you don't live too far from Westland - it would be great to meet another DIS/DVCer from my area. :wave2:

We really should try to plan a little Michigan gathering! :hyper2:

Wow, Mary! Westland??!!?? I can practically walk to your place! We should try to get together sometime! Whatcha think? :scratchin

Gosh, Karen, I wish you lived here. We certainly could keep you busy with our "zoo". :teeth:

Cindy, I wish we lived there, too! As I've mentioned before, I'm crazy about Chicago! And good pet sitters are hard to find, 'ya know... ::yes::

And you guys have rabbits, right? I love rabbits. I used to have several of my own. I don't have any right now, though. :sad2:

Hey! I got the "Top" on this page! Whoo-Hoo!!! Just wait until I hit 100 posts! Talk about a party! :cheer2:

(And, yes. I am just trying to inflate my post number with drivel like this.) :rolleyes2

Karen

Karen - congrats on your TOP! :cheer2: See it isn't hard at all to fit in with this crazy group! Don't worry - we've all talked to ourselves at one point or another on the threads. :)

Good morning everyone!!! We're in the final stretch!!! I can't believe that we only have a few days to go!!

Karen - You were up late posting. Congrats on the top, and you'll be to 100 before you know it!! Heck, before last years SSMC05 cruise, I didn't have that many posts, but I got SO talkative, that my post count rose very quickly.

Well, off to go get the girls up and Emily ready for preschool. I'm sure that I'm going to have a little separation anxiety from her when I drop her off at school. This always happens when she has a long break, she decides that she would rather stay home with me. But, maybe, just maybe, today will be different, since she's been asking every day of this Thanksgiving break if it was a school day. We'll see!!!

I hope this week goes quickly. I want Saturday morning to be here! Plus this is the only week the rest of the year that I have to work a full week. :)

Shhhhh, Gary (Garfield) just might drop them off at your house one of these days if your not careful.

We had 1 rabbit for a couple of years. The nicest little pet. "Blitzen" would sit on Cameron's lap while he watched TV. When out and about, he would play around in the family room. Sadly, Blitzen died earlier this year.

And, of course, my boys being my boys, could not agree on which new rabbit to get. So, we ended up with 2. A male and a female. The lop-eared male was suppose to be a mini -- turns out he's huge. The female is very, very skitish and doesn't like to be held at all. Yesterday, the boys had them out together and the rabbits started to fight with each other. :faint: Panic city.

I heard Gary say when we're done with these animals, we're done. Period. No more.

Besides, it does make it tough to go on vacation. We have a high school girl across the street who takes care of the rabbits & the dog when we are on vacation. We pay her for her time, but I suspect that her parents do a lot of the sharing in the job. We're lucky they are willing to help us out. Once we took our dog to a kennel and he came home with visitors (flees)! :earseek: I hope we never have to do that again. And, we certainly can't do that with the rabbits.

I can't wait. It's going to be a LONG and busy week for me at our house. But, look at the incentive at the end of the week. I'm nervous about not getting on, Im nervous about getting on. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

And, the best part. I'll share my ebay news. I can't believe that I never attempted to sell anything prior to getting back from the cruise. I can't tell you how much stuff we would put in the garbage every week that I now know could have made us money.

Diana helped encourage me a lot to get started on ebay. I had a goal set in my mind to make enough to pay for 1 of the kids on the cruise. Not only did I meet that goal, I superceded it and now my ebay funds are paying for either me or Gary (doesn't really matter, it comes out of the same pot ;) ) to cruise. The most amazing part? I didn't sell anything that we are ever going to miss. :teeth: How cool is that?? :cool1: :cool1: :smooth:

Cindy - that is excellent. Congrats on your eBay success!

Thanks, Mary. I'll let the auctions I have out there run and then I'm done for a while. I don't want to tangle with the shipping and Christmas. :faint:

Next goal? I was just talking with Gary last night. It would be awesome to have some ebay spending money for when we go to WDW in March. :smooth:

What can I say, I'm addicted! Thanks, Diana!!! :cheer2:

Did I neglect to tell you about the motiviational "fee" I charge all the people I encourage to get into ebay. Let's add Emma to your guys cabin and you can pay for her!! :rotfl: :rotfl2: ;) (lot's of smilies today).

You guys were all up bright and early chatting away. I'm still recouperating from the great computer crash of yesterday. :badpc: Still can't send any emails because I don't have anyone's email address! But everything else was backed up and back running. I'm just hoping to doesn't crash on Saturday morning when I need my support system here while we're on hold!!

5 days until call in!

:thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave:

I can't believe that it is only 5 days away. I am getting excited. I sure hope we all get in.

Cindy great job on E-bay. I keep saying that I am going to sell more stuff and I never get around to doing it.

Our house is decorated and Tom is now building a place to put our Disney houses. I thought he was just going to cut a piece of wood and put them on there. He has been cutting wood and making different levels. I have no idea what it will turn out like but I will post a picture if he ever finishes it.

Ann Marie

:cool1: Does anyone have a strategy for calling in? I learned from the last Members Cruise that if you are in the answering sequence when Member Services changes the switchboard from “We’re closed” to live, anyone on line will be cut off.
