More activities on the ship during CC days! Since the Spa is closed give us non beach people something to do on the ship!

Entertainment: How about someone younger for signing/entertainment: Raven, Lalaine, Christy Carlson Romano or Jessie McCartney.

More movies!

I was just thinking this last night! LOL And I was planning on telling anyone who will listen at the DVC event Here in Chicago this weekend. lol
I was thinking the same thing too! We probably won't have a verandah, but it would be nice to be able to have both angles of the Wonder on CC.

Cheryl - you should have been on the 10 day with us. We had Christy Carlson Romano onboard!

What a small world! The big dig is leaking and pieces of it keep landing on cars causing a lot of damage but I have to admit it is so much easier to get to the airport for people who live on the South Shore of Boston. What used to take at least an hour on a good day now takes approximately 30-45 minutes with traffic.

Lincoln is a beautiful town. I love Boston but don't visit as often as I'd like to. My DGM lived in the North End and I used to visit her every Saturday when I was a child. As for the Cape, it's changed a lot. There are more year-round residences than ever before and Cape traffic during the summer is terrible. We avoid driving on Route 3 to Cape Cod on Friday afternoon and Sunday evenings.

Annmarie

Annmarie - I used to have a client in the Boston area that I would have to visit once or twice a year. I used to hate flying into Boston because of all all the traffic. I think we once spent 45 minutes in the tunnel. Haven't been back in a couple of years because we don't have that client any more. I'm sure it is much better now.

I dont know if any of you remember, of if I even mentioned it, but I work at Chick FIl A,
My boss is the greatest.
I just got a raise and promotion.
I get paid a lot of money to sling chicken.
Jeremy (DS#2) goes to the DR Dec 7 toschedule surgery for the tumor in his back.
David (DS#1) goes to St JUDE Dec 7 to see about getting a cane or a special shoe to help with his limp.
We rode our mortorcycle last weekend and DOn slid on some gravel.
THe bike fell over and we tumbled.
It landed on his ankle.(800lbs of mortorcycle)
Hes ok and the bike was not damaged.
Oh and I wanted to buy new furniture and had even put a deposit on some when I came home to find a leaky hot water heater.
But, at least I can take hot showers, even if I have to sit on the floor LOL

Debbie, here's good wishes for your son's and prayers for all your going through. :goodvibes

So we know that in the past DVC has read these threads and I hope they are still reading this one. So let's brainstorm a little. What would you like to see done on the next Member Cruise? Now please be realistic. No giving out of 100 points per person or anything like that :) Who knows - they just may use your idea.

Can I ask for 50? ;)

SSMC05 was pretty perfect. I can't see asking for anything more but I will give it some thought.

My only real disappointment was when Walker would fall asleep at early dinner. It limited us as to what we could do in the evenings. Gary spent two nights in the cabin with him as he was out for the night. But, I don't see how DVC/DCL could make any changes there. They will come in time, I'm sure.

Good morning everyone!

1 more sleep until dd4's 5th birthday party.... (so ya know someone is bouncing off the walls already this morning)

2 more sleeps until the DVC event at the Fairmont!

15 more sleeps until CALL IN!!

I'd like for them to offer the opportunity to pre-book SSMC07 onboard. :teeth:

I love that idea! I think we were all wishing they had done that on SSMC05 for 06. We would have had a nice little party waiting in line to book. :cool1:

And the best part -- no waiting until 12/3 to book. We'd already know we were onboard. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Great idea, Diana!

Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse!

One thing I would like to see is that if they are planning on doing any special nights to let us know months before so us overplanners can do our thing and plan. :rotfl2:

I would love to be able to book onboard too. I hope they do the members picture again. That is such a great keepsake. I do think it looked better with the matching shirts.

I'll have to keep thinking of other ideas.

I agree with this too. We didn't buy the picture on SSMC03 and was pleasantly surprised that they gave us the picture this last cruise. And it looked better with the shirts, especially with the kids in yellow and adults in blue.

While on the subject of shirts....another request (I know, now I'm getting greedy!) would be instead of white shirts make them color. I live in my SSMC03 shirt and I think I've worn SSMC05 twice. DH turned his pink when he did laundry at VWL the day we came back, so he won't be wearing his anytime soon. :rotfl:

Hey Diana they have this stuff you can put in the washer with the pink shirt to take the color out. Now, if he's already dried it, I'm not sure if it will work - but it's worth a try.

I'm all for the booking the next Member Cruise while onboard. No lines please - reeks too much of the mess on the May Repo cruise. Besides there is too much to do to stand in line. Pretty much why I don't book while on board - those lines are so slow! Just a paper included in our Welcome Packet that we would leave at Member Services. Rooms would be booked on a 1st Come, 1st Serve basis. Then we could party on that cruise knowing that we will be on the next cruise

I completely agree with this one. I am definitely a compulsive planner, so I would like to know about things ahead of time. I don't need to know it all, because I do like surprises, but it would be nice if there were theme nights, etc, like on SSMC05 that they let us know with plenty of planning time.

I would love it if the ship would pull in forward one day and backward the next. We didn't purchase the photo they took when we got off the ship - too windy and we looked BAD. (please note mr dvc photo guy that it's about the only photo we didn't buy so don't worry you got your moola)

I also agree with Diana - either offer shirts in a variety of colors or in one color but not white... too many white t's for me!

:bday: Happy Birthday Mickey!!! :bday:

It's a celebration day for the mouse who started it all!!!

Disney's first and best idea followed by the parks and then of course our "DVC"!

I've been staying off this thread as much as I can. :guilty: I'm having trouble getting my husband talked in to this cruise. He didn't like the last cruise. He keeps telling me the first was better! The points are to high. I would cruise without him but the points are to high for one person!

Chris, just tell him we could do breakfast again at Cape May. Your family, our family, Chip & Dale. Isn't that enough in itself!! :cool1:
