2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

Sounds like there's a lot of planning going on for the cruise next year. I want so badly to go however DH wants to wait til the next one so that we can take my sisters and mom. We have a short trip planned the end of 05 and a big one planned for next June along with our vow renewals and family reunion next year and he thinks by Oct he'll be worn out! LOL! Oh well. Since they've had one in 03 and 05 and now 06 do you think they'll do another one in 07 or 08? Hopefully 07! Don't think I could wait til 08.

I am going on this cruise.
I just have to find a cruise buddy.
My DH cant go as it is a bad time of year and we have a 7 day on Freedom of the Seas for our anniversary planned in Sept.
But I WILL be crusing.
Unfortunatley, I hardly ever ran into any DISer's.

Hi everyone!

I have finally arrived back home to reality - unpacking the van was unreal!!! Have to find a special place for all the gifts and expand my DVC shelf in the Disney Room!!! It was so nice to spend time with my friends on this cruise and I am definitely looking forward to another one with friends! Hope that I am lucky enough to get thru to get onto the 2006 Cruise!

I wore my "blinkies" lots of times and got some real cool comments about them but didn't see too many others around???!!!

Thanks to my friends at my dinner table for helping to make this a specially awesome cruise altho now I can't find my "house" key - wonder if a certain someone lifted that from my car???

I admit that I really didn't wear my blinkies at all. They just didn't work right on my right foot. That's the one that still has the pins in it from breaking my ankle many years ago. I also forgot to wear my blinkie earrings I brought for pirate night. At least Mark got to wear his blinkie glasses the night of the fireworks!

Good news - I found my house key in the last bag I unpacked today - thought for sure I had misplaced it on my trip.

Well I was going to post a weekly countdown to call in day, but they've taken that date off the site. So for now we'll sit tight.


But the cruise is 400 days from today!

Nope - you'll have to wait for DVC to post what the points are for the cruise. The Member Cruise has always been higher than points for a regular cruise in the same time period. Earlier in this thread I listed the points for the 2005 voyage if that will help.

We are going to do everything we can to be on it!

Yup, it may just end up being a "cruise only" vacation. And, if there *is* a home game on October 21st, we can always catch the late flight out of Columbus.

When *was* the call in date for the cruise?

Must talk to our friends about taking this cruise (non-DISers) We've been trying to convince them to cruise with us. I plan on giving them some of our surplus gifts from this cruise to entice them!

Call in date was listed as December 3rd and I have a very good feeling that it will stay that date.
