2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

Cindy was a great sport about the game - especially since she really didn't volunteer. That was done but Gary, Cameron and myself Plus she got a Radio Disney t-shirt for it.

That's funny I read this today. Just last night Walker was saying how he didn't want me to do that contest and that Mary actually helped me raise my hand.

Mary's right, I never would have volunteered on my own. After all, I'm quite shy.

Had a busy day yesterday finding a turkey to my liking for Thursday and setting up the tree along with other decorations that need to be set up before I hit the road again on Friday.

Okay, everyone, it's time to sing "On the Road Again" - I just luv to bug people with that song - it's the kind of song that sticks with ya for awhile.

Today I'm going to finish decorating the tree and start packing - need to get everything I need in the van by Thursday including the lights that I will decorate the balcony at OKW with. Hmmm - I think I pulled them out of the attic and where did I put them after that?

Wednesday I will pick up any last minute items and then I will "lose my mind!" I'm sure I'll be totally stressed by then! DD's in-laws are coming over on Thursday so I hope that "the bird" comes out good! Can you tell I'm stressssssed!?!?!

Gail - if you and John are in the area and want to swing by and see the "crazy woman here", feel free. I have the outside of the house done and there's a 8' Mickey who helps decorate the front lawn - the house should be easy to find! The inside will not be complete til I get back from WDW.

Friday morning - probably when most of you are heading to the store I will be driving out of Michigan to head over to Delaware to pick up my sis and then next Monday we will start our trek down to WDW and OKW!!!

I need my DVC!!!

Yes, that was one of the magnets that ended up on my door - I knew it couldn't be me - I don't have Shrek sized Feet!

There were a few others that made it to my door - if it wasn't Cindy it must have been my wheelchair racing neighbors

Will you be back on the weekend of the 10th of Dec? We (at this time) are free that weekend - if you're home and not busy maybe we can set up a time to come by. You gotta leave up the decorations into January - Fireplug and gang want to see them.

Ummm, I was laughing at the neighbors... I walk around my block 3 times a week, and we alwayscomment on the "Tackiest" holiday decoration. We also commented once that someone had them up until July 4th weekend one year... the next year they were down on 1/2...

OK, I just got off the phone with Members services... "I Don't know where you got your information, but the spa will be open... Can you say Revisionist History???

I made my ressies for Oct 14th to the 22nd at BCV. Now all that is left is to get on the cruise..... and figure where I will take the points from...

Oh, and the waiting o the phone Next Saturday!!!!!

OK, I just got off the phone with Members services... "I Don't know where you got your information, but the spa will be open... Can you say Revisionist History???

That is so weird, because on the back of the invitation they sent us....the one the fine print very clearly reads...."The Vista Spa and Salon is being expanded and will be unavailable during this sailing." That seems like a pretty reliable place to get your info....the invite they sent us!

We're booked pre cruise as of now at Saratoga (we love it). I booked Friday and Saturday nights not thinking that we probably won't fly in until Saturday morning.

Cindy - I just might be up for the TP challenge. I like Charmin myself!

I didnt book anything for precruise since I wont know how many points we will have until after we book the cruise (Will we get the desired Cat3, or will we have to go with 2 cat 6's...)Plus I am leaning towards staying at the Poly or NickHotel or HRH or Pop or SSR or PO-R....

We want to jam ourselves into a regular hotel room that sleeps 5 for the nights before the cruise so it will feel like we are spreading out once on the ship (hopefully in either the Cat 3 or 2 cat6's)... then the 3 nights after the cruise we will be in heaven in a 2 bedroom at BCV

I will be booking post cruise at BCV next week though...
