Happy Sunday!
Cindy,
Congratulations on your purchase of the football team.
I wish it was a professional team, not a 7 year old flag football team. I'd take all of you on a cruise if I had that kind of money. Sadly, my financial contribution is only $150, right in my price range, so we'll just have to meet up another time when everyone is on their own.
We survived our garage sale.

The people came in spurts and we didn't end up closing until later in the afternoon. People even came after the signs were out of the ground, not sure how they found us, but they did. We made about $400, not bad, but I'm not sure it's something I hope to get into again, as they are a lot of work. My van is packed to the gills, the resale shop opens at 12 and Gary will be up there donating all the extras. Profits go to battered woman and children, so it's a good cause!
The two "highlights" of the day? We had our two rabbits out there for sale. Cameron's white one sold just about right away. Walker's little brown one was still waiting for a new home (and still is) when a family came up and said to him "we'd love to cook this for dinner".

I didn't hear the comment, but from that point on, Walker was saying "I don't want to sell my rabbit". So, we have the rabbit here still, which doesn't solve our problem of needing a pet sitter next time we go on vacation. I didn't hear that comment, or I would have decked that family for sure. The other rabbit went to a family with 2 pre-teen girls who were so excited to get him, calling him by name before they even loaded him in the car.
The other "highlight" was about the same rabbit. I came inside for just a minute, during which a lady said to Gary & Cameron that she paid me for the rabbits. Good thing that Gary was explaining to her how to feed it and care for it because he stalled this lady long enough so that she couldn't load the rabbit and take off. I come out of the house and Cameron says "the lady is taking the rabbit". I'm like, she paid you for it, Cameron says "no, she said she paid you".

Nope, she didn't pay me, I asked Gary, did she pay you? Nope. Walker, did she pay you, Nope! As soon as she saw me, ironically, she got in her car and drove away. I can't believe someone was going to rip off my kids and our rabbit like that. I tell you, it takes all kinds!
Today I'm finishing my cards so they can get in the mail to Amy! Gary has to work on his PTA stuff, so he's anxious to get my scrapbooking stuff back out so he can make a poster for Information Night tomorrow. Yep, Gary is the chairman of a committee for our Reflections Projects this year. He's already wondering if he's taken on a little more than he should have. At least he's not the "Secretary" as they were recruiting him for just before elections as something tells me that would have been even a bigger job.
Enjoy your day. I hope the

comes out. It's rather overcast and dreary around here today.
