2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006

I'm amazed it isn't sold out yet. Congrats to everyone who has gotten in.

Those who have sailed on a Member Cruise before know what fun it is. Those who haven't - you are in for the times of your life.

This thread is for getting to know your fellow cruisers. We hope you visit often. Yes we get into silliness and fluff but many of us have become friends and we want to become friends with you as well.

We'll try and keep the important info up on the website Mark is maintaining.

I surprised it isn't close to selling out yet either. Do you think the fact that it's not during Value season and the points are higher might have something to do with it?

Mary I think that might be it. I also think people might have gotten discouraged this morning. We had the advantage of having others telling us to hold on!

DVC website shows only Cat 7 and 8 as sold out so far. It was updated about 1/2 hour ago.

Hmmm... so many things to do... pens... magnetic mini-posters... little magnetic door decorations... convince Amy that we *do* need another 1GB memory stick for the camera... Any maybe a 3rd Gb stick... tools already set to do photo DVD again...

He's already bargain shopping. We already have one 1GB memory stick, I think that we need at least one more (maybe 2). But this time, we need to make sure that our camera isn't on the HIGHEST setting!!!

I really think the problems with the phone system is causing it to sell out slower.

I am very sure lots of people hit 3 get absolutely noting then hang up. I 've caught a few on the DVC forum doing that already.

I'm looking at the 2 GB memory sticks now! I have a 1 GB and I had mine on the highest setting too, but I certainly won't hurt to have an extra couple of GB's!!

I think the time of year and the increased cost may be having an effect on speed of selling out. Oh well those of us who have been on one know how much fun it is.

About memory sticks/cards....

I bought a Ipod 30 gig a few weeks ago with the Camera attachment. I can attach my camera to the adapter and upload my pic to my ipod for storage while away. Hopefully it works well at WDW !!!!!

I can't get this smile off my face... we went to look at trading in my GAS HOG today and could not get a reasonable deal our rep was sooo apologetic and I was kind of indifferent... OK no problem let me know if anything changes... I am going on a Disney Cruise....
