Wow, next fall!!! Wonder when they'll start selling???

"Development of the Animal Kingdom Villas is scheduled in phases, with units to begin opening in fall 2007. The project is scheduled to be completed by spring 2009.

The first phase will include 134 remodeled accommodations on the fifth and sixth floors of the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and additional phases will include the building of 324 vacation properties in a new building at the resort."

I just want to warn you that the cruise week is tech week and opening night for my son's play. Which means LONG hours of rehearsal and lots of time away from home. Plus there is school. And household chores. So if I'm not around to chat with you it's NOT because you're from THAT state (which I cannot say during football season, it's considered a profanity!)

Hmmmm, by your # of posts it doesn't seem that there is much that can get in the way of posting. And aren't you a member of the infamous blabbermouths???? We'll get Stacy over here also to keep us company while the cruisers are at sea. But I do understand that sometimes life does have its way of getting into our best laid plans.

I obviously can't follow all of the DIS (trouble enough keeping up with THIS thread)....

is VAKL INSTEAD of the ones at the Contemporary? Or in ADDITION TO?

Actually, you misread my post. I was hinting that since you were a fan of THAT TEAM, I wouldn't talk to you.

But I will. Because I know that ppl make mistakes in their life and I can still like them in spite of those.

Yes Sandy is right Contemp. was a rumor based on a picture from an Architecht website and CM rumors that they were doing something at contemp. or the STOL port (airline strip)

You don't have cats, do you? He jumps onto the counter and then up on the fridge. He has been found in some strange places!!! (my favorite was the time he got stuck between the screen and the open window!!!!

Actually, yes we do. We share our home with 3 cats, but none of them jump onto the fridge. My DD has a cat that loves to eat bread. He will tear into a package with his teeth to get to it. He even learned how to open the bread box to have a snack when she and her hubby are at work. They ended up putting the bread box on top of the fridge because that's the only place he can't get to it!!

It would be neat if they'd start selling to DVC members on the cruise. I'm not sure that we're in the financial shape right now to buy, but that would be a hard one to pass up, since AKL was designed by the same guy that did VWL and it's the ONLY place we have points. DD's and I stayed at AKL a few years ago, and I have to say it's my favorite resort next to VWL.

I'm off to do that pre cruise ritual....the pedicure!! Of course, this would be the coldest day of the fall, and I'll have to wear flip flops on the way home because I'm sure the polish won't be dry! Oh well, I'll just crank up the heater in the car.

Ok all. I am at home and can't keep up. I am trying to help Jessica with her spelling and Brooke with her math. How am I expected to decide which is more important, school or Dis.

Congratulations to everyone that had a milestone lately. I am impressed.

Thanks for the packing lists. I have printed them off and it will make it so much easier. I can't believe I've never used one in the past.

Ok time to go back to school.

One word PRIORITIZE Dis #1 and work down from there.

Hi from Delaware! Arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon after driving thru rain til I got to PA and then hit rain again when I got to DE. All in all it wasn't too bad. From what dd told me this morning on the phone, I left just in time - sounds like white stuff is falling from the sky again. Only white stuff I like to see falling from the sky is..... Disney snow!
Off to have a fun day with sis so I'll try and check in later or maybe chat tomorrow. Not sure but will see ya soon!
