Tina the photos are great! We would like to do Discovery Cove this summer. It is spendy. Tina for the cost would you do it again?
Roxann, I'm not sure if I would spend the money for us to go a 2nd time, only because we have done it before. But it was worth it for the 1st time. I am very pleased with the day we had there. I am so glad that the girls enjoyed it!! I was afraid they would chicken out on getting in the water with the dolphins, but they never hesitated a minute...they also got in with the stingrays, and did the coral reef snorkeling. I feel it was a great value, also with the cost we got all our meals, drinks (including alcohol), wetsuit, goggles, snorkel, and a 7 day pass to sea world. Its not a bad deal.

Well, I'm unexpectedly childless for the evening. :thumbsup2 Madison and I went to pick Emily up from ballet class and we saw one of the mom's that Emily plays with her daughter Emma on occasion. Well, Emily has been wanting to go over to Emma's house to play and last week, she changed her mind at the last minute. So, Emma's mom said she could come over today, if she wanted. So, I went to get Emily's carseat from the car and Madison climbed into their minivan and wouldn't get out. So, she took Madison home to play too (she has an almost 2yr old little girl also), so now she has 4 of them. She offered to feed them dinner, give them a bath and bring them back to the house later tonight.

So, I immediately called Chris and told him that we should go out to dinner, somewhere where we wouldn't normally bring the kids. So, we're going to visit one of our favorite local places (a total dive) that has a crab leg special on Tuesday nights. But, because crab legs are messy and take some work, we don't ever go with the kids, because they take too much attention on their own. So, nice little quiet treat for us on a Tuesday night.

I'm glad to hear Nick is on the mend. Maybe he can teach Cameron how to use the inhaler.

Gary just got home with Cameron from the doctor. This is the last time I let Cameron decide if he needs to go to the doctor or not. I should have followed my instincts and took him in on Friday or Saturday. Not only does Cameron have ear infections in both ear canals, but he has pretty severe wheezing and bronchitis. Hopefully he'll be on the mend by the weekend -- he'll have a lot of antibiotics in him by then. Gary's off to pick up the drugs at the pharmacy. After his first dose, Cameron's off to bed. I'm betting he'll be home again tomorrow. :(
Yowza!!
You would think the ear infections would be bugging him enough to make him want to go to the doctors!?
Did Cameron ever have a bad experience and the doctors were maybe he is reluctant to go?
Knock on wood Nick is not like that. I guess he is used to all kinds of doctors offices. I used to make it a point when I went thru my years of issues to bring him to the doctors with me so that he would see the doctors office is not a scary place.
Heck even when I was on certain meds I had to get weekly blood work and I would bring Nick with me and he would sit in my lap and watch them draw the blood or he would be in the room when a visiting nurse would have to come to the house to check bandages/wounds and such.

Tina - Those pictures look great!!! I'm so glad to hear you had a good time (to bad it wasn't a little warmer). My Aund has done Discovey Cove and loved it and said we should try it. Now I have to see if I can get the family away from Disney! :rotfl:

Judy - Isn't it nice to have great neighbors that will help out on things like surprise parties!!! Glad it all worked out!

Amy - Yea on Adult night!!!! They are nice to have every once in a while. Now that Nick is getting older and we can leave him home alone for a spell it makes it easier for Jeff and I to do things!

Hey all. Just a quick update as I'm stopping in at home real quick. Despite being a little crabby after her surgery, Cheryl is doing just fine. I took a ride home to walk the dog and grab a quick bite (starving and didn't want to eat in the hospital cafe again), and the nurse asked me to get her to take a nap - which I told her to do "or else" between now and when I got back.

If approved she can go home at around 10pm tonight instead of staying over. We'll see how that goes, maybe she'll get to post on her own.

Todd - thanks for the update! Glad to hear all went well!

Woo Hoo Amy - DATE NIGHT! Wow she's feeding them, giving them a bath and they probably will be ready for bed when they get home! Nice Surprise!

I told Deanna the girls were coming on Saturday, she was pretty happy! She's excited to see everyone. She tells her friends that she's going to visit friends she met on the cruise and they think it's just odd. Their loss!

She wants the girls to tell her about their Dolphin excursion.

Todd thanks for updating us on Cheryl. I hope she gets to come home this evening. She'll probably get alot more rest at home. Hope she's feeling good soon!
