Whew, I'm all caught up from last night and this morning now!!!

We had a busy morning around here. For those that are interested, The Little Mermaid was released today. So, Target was having a deal that if you bought the new Little Mermaid movie and a Little Mermaid gift set with Ariel & Prince Eric, you got an Ariel Wedding Dress costume set for free ($24.99 value). Well, we were at Target at 8am when the doors open, hoping to get it all taken care of quickly and get Emily to school by 8:30am because she has a field trip today.

Well, there were quite a few of us there and when we got to the toy dept, there were NO dresses. It took about 20 minutes and about 5 employees to finally find the box of dresses in the back. So, I grabbed 2 sets (one for us, one for my sister) and off I go to the register. And, of course, it wasn't showing up as free on the register. So, that took another 5 minutes and I was worried that Emily was going to miss her field trip, since they were leaving at 8:45am. Thankfully, I made it to her school by 8:40am, only 10 minutes late.

Then, I did go back to Target on my way home and bought 2 more sets, because I'm sure that I can find someone that wants them, or I'll use each of the items individually as gifts for Emily's friends. And, I'm glad that I did, because there were only 2 dresses left.

We have all of the Magic Tree House books as they were once Cameron's favorites as well.

Books in the lab or club? I don't know. I do know they have playstation or computer games that mezmerized Cameron & Nick. The boys were glued to those screens. :)

Stacy, have you given any thoughts to Nick's boundaries this cruise?

For others who have kids in the 10-12 age group, have you decided to give them checkout priviledges in the lab? Last year, Cameron had the capability of checking himself out but had to go to the cabin if he did. The lab would beep us with a message saying that Cameron had left the lab and headed to the room. One or the other of us would then meet Cameron back in the cabin and decide from there what the next move was going to be.

OK, I hope they have a lot of the computer games. My Ben has an addiction to computer games (we limit him to 2 hours a day - only on weekends during the school year). He will go NUTS in the club.
I don't think I am ready to give Sam the freedom to check himself out of the lab. He is only 10, and I think I would find him stuffing his face with desserts if he got out and I wasn't with him. I guess that wouldn't be so bad since he needs the energy to get up at 3am to wake you guys up!

Ok folks the gloves are off. Karen saw that I was taking pity on you all and she told me no more kidding around. So she picked out this image.

For the folks just joining in on the tread and for those just coming back from reality all are WELCOME. Put your thinking caps on cause here we go for round #5

MOVIE CHALLENGE #5
The Rules:

(1) The pic will be posted on odd numbered days (since it was aptly pointed out that we are all a little odd) sometime before NOON. Several DisSers have expressed interest but are prohibited from checking in at work so I MIGHT post it early, just depends if I am working and/or awake....

(2) NO HINTS – Karen may relent and force me to give a clue later.

(3) The first DisSer to post the correct answer wins.

(4) Limit one guess per screen name per day.

How about Toy Story 2?

Good morning everyone!

Whew, last night was rough. So was this morning clearing the roof and gutters of debris before another promised hit this afternoon.

But all is good. Including the fact I have yet again updated the website with current info from Amy, the luggage tag guide I wrote up the other day, and some other small things. I miss anything? pm me :)

Now, as much as I'd like to stay and get some rest as I also think I have the current bug running around, not going to happen. I owe, I owe, so off to work I go!

Be careful up there on the roof. We don't want any falls before the cruise!

Mark, take care of yourself and don't over-do it. You have a cruise to get on in less than 3 weeks, you know. ;)

Guess I'm going back to bed - not feeling too great today - I think the baby shared his cold with me.
I'll try and do some more reading later - eyes don't want to work today and after telling everyone in the family to sleep it off, I think that I will take my own advice for a change. Everyone around me has been sick and they finally got me.

I'll try and catch up later.

Feel BETTER soon!!!

Here's some pixie dust for you!

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

My problem is whether or not to keep Emily in the older 5-7 group, or bring her down to the 3-4 group. They do more Princess-type stuff with the 3-4 yr olds, and of course, she loves that. And, she's only turning 5 on Thursday, so she would be one of the youngest in the group. Decisions, decisions!! I guess I'll wait until we're onboard and see what kinds of things are offered for each group.

Aye Mates, heave ho those sniffles and coughs,
In nineteen days we're due to shove off!

No problem with making it to the Pre-Cruise meet now!!!

Ok so we don't have kiddos yet but I am curious - what's the beeper like? Is it a doctor size beeper, or a restaurant size coaster beeper?

It's a regular sized beeper, like a doctor would have. Actually, I had the same one years ago when I worked on a helpdesk.

Thanks Amy! I had this vision in my head of everyone with the coaster size beepers in their pockets :rotfl:

I was thinking of calling MS today too, so I guess I'll just wait for your response. (Since I know how much you love to call people. ;) )

The official word is that tips are included for state room & dining room CM's. :teeth: Just as everyone was saying -- I just needed to confirm that for myself.

Thanks, Amy, yes, I love the phone. NOT!

Hi all!

First of all, BEAR, Congrats on getting the timely post!!!! great number!

I checked the member services database, and indeed, the standard tips are included. It didn't say anything about Paolo's, or Bartenders, so you probably feel safe in the assumption that you will need to tip on those Conch Coolers....

I am so looking forward to meeting all of you!!!

PS, the Dis just ate my last post....
