Curt and Karen -

So glad that your Tigers made it to the playoffs.

So sorry that they will only get to experience three games :rotfl2:

:lmao: You're terrible!! Your right though! :lmao:

Game 1 tonight! :cool1:

I also remember that tips were included. That is how I justified the extra cost of the cruise to my DH! ;)

Wow, some are already getting their docs! How exciting.

I can't wait.

That was my guess!! Did you read my mind?
I'll go on the technicality and guess Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The old nice sweet Gene Wilder version as opposed to the creepy Johnny Depp version. :lmao:

I watched the Johnny Depp version a few weeks ago, and you're right, it's very creepy!!!

Congrats Diana & Amy - You two are the first women I have ever heard call anything ASSOCIATED with Johnny Depp - Creepy...

Hey good news.
I went onto the Soutwest website this morning and was able to change to an earlier flight in on the 21st!!! So instead of getting in at 2:15pm we will be getting in at 12:45! Yea!!!!
No problem with making it to the Pre-Cruise meet now!!!

AWSOME NEWS!!

My problem is whether or not to keep Emily in the older 5-7 group, or bring her down to the 3-4 group. They do more Princess-type stuff with the 3-4 yr olds, and of course, she loves that. And, she's only turning 5 on Thursday, so she would be one of the youngest in the group. Decisions, decisions!! I guess I'll wait until we're onboard and see what kinds of things are offered for each group.
I think she's lucky to have the advantage of getting to "pick" since she is close to either side.

Have you seen that movie??? He is a little creepy!!!

I think that since the Cubbies didn't make the playoffs this year (we'll get em next year) that I'm either rooting for the Tigers or the Mets!

Ok folks the gloves are off. Karen saw that I was taking pity on you all and she told me no more kidding around. So she picked out this image.

For the folks just joining in on the tread and for those just coming back from reality all are WELCOME. Put your thinking caps on cause here we go for round #5

MOVIE CHALLENGE #5
The Rules:

(1) The pic will be posted on odd numbered days (since it was aptly pointed out that we are all a little odd) sometime before NOON. Several DisSers have expressed interest but are prohibited from checking in at work so I MIGHT post it early, just depends if I am working and/or awake....

(2) NO HINTS – Karen may relent and force me to give a clue later.

(3) The first DisSer to post the correct answer wins.

(4) Limit one guess per screen name per day.

Hope all the Jewish Disers had an easy fast.

Thanks Cheryl. For me, I think the hardest time is coming back from services Sunday night and not being able to have the nighttime snack. Like Robin, by the time the holiday was over, I wasn't as hungry as I was thristy, but I still managed to eat way too much to break the fast :guilty:

Gary - thanks but I thought I fixed that one. Cindy caught it. Are you looking at the copy I gave Cindy yesterday or the one I put up? Thought between Cindy and I we had caught all the typos but if anyone finds any let me know soon. Printing will be starting.

Thanks! :)

Mary - I think I caught one minor error in the rooms. You have SueC1216 listed in room 7556, but room 7554 is marked off in the deck plan.

I know I'm reaching, but I'm going to guess Flight of the Navigator

Thanks Sandy. Just checked my e-mails and 7556 is correct so I'll see if I can fix the deck plan.

Did you guys see this on mouseplanet?

A brand new menu debuted at Cookie's BBQ on Castaway Cay last week for those aboard the Disney Cruise Line. They have installed rotisserie chicken machines, wood fired grills (for the hot dogs, hamburgers, and fresh fish sandwiches), and a brick oven that they are using for garlic focaccia. MousePlanet staffers who were among the first to try the menu report that the food is outstanding. This is apparently the first of a series of improvements coming to the food on the island.

I liked your idea of a friendly bet. We NYers can group together and share the booty when the Yanks win.

Let's see, what is Detroit famous for? I know! We can bet a bushel of apples against a brand new Ford Mustang :rotfl:

I am hoping for just the opposite. Jessica would like to be moved up to the 8 year old group. She is 7 and turns 8 in May. She is used to being around kids older than she is and also wants to stay with Brooke. We'll see what happens.
