Thanks everyone for the bday wishes for Julia!!

After our cake breakfast we ran around town and did some errands, including buying a brand new stroller for our trip. Then we headed over to the Apple Festival where the girls got to go on their very first pony ride! It was a nice day, but get pretty cold around 3pm so we headed home for naps, dinner and some family birthday time!

Congrats on 19000, we'll hit 20000 by tomorrow night for sure at this rate!

Nope, I rarely play trivia games! I just wanted to contribute in some way to our DIS group, and, being a writer who likes to do research and organize information...the idea of a DVC trivia "cheat sheet" just came naturally.

Of course, I will share all the answers I get...that's the fun part. The tricky part will be ensuring that someone in our DIS group gets to play the actual trivia game onboard!

Well, I don't know how much you've been following the thread, but Curt's a cheater, so he'll find a way to play, and I know kickboxing so I'll fight my way to participate!

OK so what are the chances---we have exactly 0 points left for 2006 and 6 whole points for 2007!

Not really, you sound like you would be a lot of fun. Maybe we will meet at the next member event.

We started out with the 150 and just bought 75 more. I hope 225 a year will hold us, at least until we can afford some more.

We started out with 150 also! Then we added 25... then we added another 50...
So now we also have 225 which is still not enough, but will have to hold us for a while. Having your DH open his own business certainly changes the whole vacation picture. No extra $$ or vacation time away from the business.
I am fondly referring to this cruise as 'The Kidnapping', as he is working about 80 hours a week.

Wow! Is everyone going to get one of these or only those that have done the DVC cruise in the past? I have been so motivated by the rooms others have posted pictures of that I am going to turn my upstairs tv room into a Disney room!

That's great! It was actually Tom's idea to clean up our messy office and display all of our Disney stuff and I'm very happy he suggested it. I love sitting in there while talking on the phone or when we have guests over it's a great place to enjoy a quiet conversation and a cup of tea! Annmarie

Thought of you today. Went to my local grocery store and the Boy Scouts had their popcorn tables set up. I stopped and talked for about 20 minutes on the way in. And then stopped and talked for another 10 on the way out.

I did'nt buy any popcorn b/c last year I bought a few boxes of microwave popcorn and I still have every single one of them (kids got braces a week after we got them and they aren't allowed to have popcorn)

Confession: I did know the Boy Scout and the mom. They are fellow homeschoolers here in London. The dad is our lawn care man (Mark and Mary saw his work) They also come daily when we are gone to check on the house and feed the cat.

A bit of a TZ moment as we also ran into some cub scouts outside our grocery store today. We didn't buy any either because I told Cindy if they are selling tomorrow I was going to run out and buy some from Walker. I did say no thank you to them, that I had promised to buy from someone else. We then wished them luck.

Hi all. Busy day here. We went to Super WalMart to find magnet paper and t-shirt iron-ons. While we were there we found something that we all should have............glow in the dark pirate underwear.

So who's taking the underwear orders? Boxers or briefs

We have what, Mary, 45 cabins and 100+ people in our DIS group going on the DVC DCL cruise? So 100+ trivia-savvy people out of 2000 total onboard means our chances of getting someone in the trivia contest are greater than...none? LOL!

I have some new additions I have to make to the spreadsheet tomorrow but as of right now (including those new additions) we have 57 DIS cabins and 146 DIS members getting buttons.

See, Karen, you at least acknowledged them. A+ for the effort.

Personally, I'd never pay the price they are asking for the popcorn. I understand it's a fund raiser and all, but really, how can a tin of popcorn be with $15? I'd much rather give the kids a couple of dollars towards a donation.
