:cool1: Congrats on 100 posts!! :cool1:

Would you believe when I joined the SSMC05 thread I had like 300 posts! Well, I guess knowing me now, it's not too hard to believe.

Where in Jersey are you? We had a house in Ortley Beach when I was younger.

Thanks for the congrats, I didn't think I would post that much, I would just lurk in the background but you are all too much fun. I have a long way to go to catch up to any of you!

OK, I had to look up Ortley Beach because I never heard of it. It is near Toms River which is near mile marker 80 on the Garden State Parkway. We live near exit 0. The very bottom of the state. Oh yeah, Cape May as in the Cape May Cafe (I never even ate there). It is a beautiful place, and not too far from Philly, NY and Atlantic City. Let me know if anyone would like to visit. http://www.capemay.com/ or www.greatcapemayinns.com

Well, get this. We went to dinner last week with some of my college friends. One works at ESPN and she comes out once a year for an OSU game (usually the MI game, but this year it'll be too close to the birth of her neice/nephew)

Anyway, the wives of one of my college friends is a big theater person and she LOVED talking to KT about the theater (Nick was actually AT rehearsal)

This woman said that OSU has a lousy theater program (KT's dream college) but that either Northwestern or the "state up north" have GREAT theater programs. KT looked like she would strangle the woman for even SUGGESTING she go "up north" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

but maybe Northwestern....that's up by you guys, no?

It sure is - about a 10 minute drive from our house!

I've been to Cape May. It is beautiful there. I'm sure you know the song but now you've got me singing it--

On the way to Cape May,
I fell in love with you.
On the way to Cape May,
I saw my dreams come true.

Ortley is on that island with Seaside Heights and all those. It's a nice place, not as nice as Cape May, Wildwood and the southern beaches though!

OK, the newbie is lost, what is a tag?

Chris - a tag is the little saying that goes under your name. Anyone can put their own in like you did. However the tag fairy is the only one that can do it in color. They sneak in when you least expect it and can "tag" you with something you said on a thread or maybe something someone said about you.

Here's a little more on them from the DIS Board Basics thread:
What are tag fairies (or who put those colorful messages under my name)? Tag Fairies are magical beings who visit the boards, and grace people with tags under their usernames. You never know when they are going to strike, or where....you just have to believe. BTW - the tag fairy does not like to see people begging for a tag. Just have fun on the boards and be surprised when it happens.

BTW I didn't mention it last night but count me in for Julie's celebration. I don't drink but that doesn't mean I don't like a good party!

Nick wanted me to post on the DIS that one of his butterflies has died. We ordered the caterpillar's, watched them form chysalisses (sp?) and hatch from those. They've been butterflies for over a week now and one died today.

Nick is very very tenderhearted and he's pretty upset about it (read as crying and sobbing) I heard him tell KT "I prayed to God that they wouldn't die." :( :( :(

And then he came up to me and said "will you let them know on the DIS that one of the butterflies died." With as straight a face as possible I told him I would.

So I'm keeping my word. :)
Nick so sorry to hear about your butterfly!:grouphug: :grouphug:

Just a simple question for the delivery driver stalking ladies (you know who you are) Q: IF YOU WATCH PRO FOOTBALL ON TV ... WHY?

This should be INTERESTING ::yes::
Only for those tight pants!;) :p Is that what you wanted to know?:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Did someone say Partee?

Count me in!

BTW, we are staying BCV before and after! Need to be close to home for all those events at F&W, so that I can stumble, I mean walk home safely! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh yea, I know the song. Glad you like it here.
We come up to your neck of the woods next friday!
So, I get in the car this morning (three weeks before we leave) and what should play on the IPOD but the EPCOT Illuminations music. Like that wasn't enough to get me yearning for the next three weeks to pass quickly the next song was the Tapestry of Dreams parade music (the IPOD was on random). I still will have more to listen to when I go to lunch.
We loved the Tapestry of Dreams parade. DS used to call it the hey-up parade. Hey-up, hey-up hey-up....sing it with me! Anyone ever hear if they might bring that parade back someday?

Yes. And tags can show up when you least expect it, but if you say something really embarrassing, they have a better chance of showing up.....like mine. :)

Great news Roxann! I'm anxiously awaiting mine. I saw on the tracking thread that many people in upstate NY have received theres, so I'm hoping ours will be here soon.

And GREAT tag!! Congrats!! pixiedust:

I didn't know I even got tagged! I was waiting for Stacy to post so I could check out her tag! Wow! I feel so loved!:rotfl:

Ah, Tapestry of Dreams.
I remember when we were upset b/c they were changing it from Tapestry of Nations to Tapestry of Dreams. Luckily it didn't change *that* much!!

We used to stake out seats a good 45 minutes early so we could get the bench right at Germany. We could watch the parade TWO FULL TIMES. Ah, those were the days. KT wrote a "strongly worded letter" to WDW saying they shouldn't have gotten rid of that parade, but she never heard anything back.

U TOP!!
