That's my daughter's favorite movie. That was back before Christian Bale went batty ;)

Hmmm, i was going to guess Newsies too. It is our whole family's favorite. In fact it's a running joke between our family and another we know because we always tease we are going to put on the play for a talent show someday. We're not but it was a fun thing to think of doing. I don't understand why it wasn't more of a success. It has terrific music, choreography and storyline :confused3

So, last night my wife finally decided to see what this thread was all about. She takes a look and say 1207 pages? I can't read all 1207 pages. So I told her she still has three weeks :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

HA HA! :rotfl::rotfl:

doing my part here this am for 20,000!

OK so now you know you've all put a serious dent in my wallet with all this scrapping stuff, right :rotfl2:

I'm in the process of making one of those boxes that Diana Lyn shared with us. I think I came up with a good idea. I'm calling it my Disney song box. It is themed Under the Sea (not very original but...) So inside I made a mistake and made the wrong kind of flaps (they give you two kinds in the directions), mine are not pockets because I cut too fast, LOL. So they are just flaps and I was trying to think what to do with them. So I'm going to treat each flap as a small scrapbook page. Each page will have a piece of the chorus (and maybe some of the song don't know how much will fit yet) to Under the Sea and a picture to go along with it. You will "read" it by turning the box around and around with the flaps laid open. I will take the lyrics with me on the cruise to see if I can capture a picture that will fit the lyric for a particular flap. Just an idea that came to me while I SLEPT, DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME!!!!

No, No, No--I think you did the flaps right! The "pockets" are in fact pockets, but the flaps are just that--flaps that can be used to put journaling in. So you are exactly 100% right with what you are thinkinga bout doing with the lyrics and photo to match! Wow Ilene, I'm totally impressed by your creativity. You say we're doing it to you, but you're really making some of us look bad--so it's all you!

Great job! Can't wait to see it!!

Is Ortley Beach near Silver Beach? Silver is next to the Ocean Beaches. I have an aunt who lives there. She is about 6 houses from the ocean. She used to have a house in Hasbrouck Heights and the house down the shore but she sold the Heights house and built a monster down the shore where she lives permanently now.

I played miniature golf at Chadwick Golf growing up right across the street from the Pancake House (not what it's called anymore). There is a Wawa across the street from her block and a gentleman's club at the end of her block.

Alrightly--I don't know anything about a gentleman's club! :rolleyes1

I believe Silver Beach is a few beaches up from Ortley. It's near Seaside Heights? I spent many summers down there as a kid. That place was great!

We received our DVC glicee today! It is pretty cool. I think we will take it to our favorite framer when we return from the cruise.

Great news Roxann! I'm anxiously awaiting mine. I saw on the tracking thread that many people in upstate NY have received theres, so I'm hoping ours will be here soon.

And GREAT tag!! Congrats!! pixiedust:

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Want a little something to say thank you or a personalized card to go with your tips. http://tagrel.com/APP/CMCards.shtml has a great selection of CM appreciation cards. One set specifically for DCL. You can personalize them with your cruise date and family name.

I thought this one would be good after our discussion of tips yesterday!

Congrats to Mark on getting the challenge right! I'll make sure he gets a Konk Kooler (virgin) for his efforts!

Welcome home to Gail & John after 11 nights of Wonder! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. Ok so you aren't home in MI yet but you are back on land today! Have fun at WDW!

Congrats to Curt and Roxann on their visit from the Tag Fairy as well! :cheer2:

Nick wanted me to post on the DIS that one of his butterflies has died. We ordered the caterpillar's, watched them form chysalisses (sp?) and hatch from those. They've been butterflies for over a week now and one died today.

Nick is very very tenderhearted and he's pretty upset about it (read as crying and sobbing) I heard him tell KT "I prayed to God that they wouldn't die." :( :( :(

And then he came up to me and said "will you let them know on the DIS that one of the butterflies died." With as straight a face as possible I told him I would.

So I'm keeping my word. :)

Awe, poor Nick.

Are they painted ladies? If they have been hatched for a week, it's probably time to let the rest of them go. They have a very short life cycle -- 28 days or so and their job is to go out and lay their eggs and then the adult dies off. Sad, I know.

We were told at Rafiki's Planet that the best thing to feed butterflies is orange gatorade.

Yoo hoo---Stacy----Looks like the tag fairy has come to visit you!! :wizard:

Congrats on the new tag!!

Now I need to look and see if anyone else got one.

:cool1: :cool1::cool1::cool1:

A Class A Scout!!!! Even Curt can't claim that!!

Way to go. Nice to know the Tag Fairy pops in here once and a while.

I wonder, did they read all 18,000+ posts?? :smokin:

Seriously, I never knew that butterflies didn't live very long until we went to the Butterfly Conservatory in Key West last year. See--you do learn stuff while cruising! But the lady explained to us how every morning before they open they go around and scour the place picking up all the dead butterflies because some live for only 2 days while some live for 2 weeks, most live an average of 7 days. Now in comparison, we were at the Butterfly Museum in Hershey Gardens this summer and they didn't have the same practice because there were dead butterflies all over the place. :scared: Or maybe the butterfly mortician called in sick that day.

I guess certain species can live for up to a year though--so if you're gonna get a pet--find out what kind that is first!

::yes:: Sad and beautiful as they are, they do have a very short lifespan. :(

I mentioned this chair/table mutiny to Karen earlier and she says Matt is SOL, she was offered it first and she claims it. I really don't know what all the fuss is about it's not like I'm bringing a wrist rocket to dinner????

:cool1: Cool, forget the buy-it-now option. I'm listing Cameron's chair with an opening bid of $.01. Matt & Karen can have a bidding war and sky rocket the price way up there. I'm sure Cameron would find something to do with the profits. :cool1:
