Is anyone bringing their blinky's from last year? I'm debating. I'm not sure I would wear them but if anyone else is bringing them, I might be swayed into at least giving them a try -- although after wearing my Athen's all summer, it would be hard to switch.

Tonight is P&P night in this household --- pizza & packing!

It occured to me, that not only do we all need to pack for the cruise, but Cameron & I have to pack for our camping trip the weekend we get back.

The least they could have done was take a better picture - I wonder if they took the picture while riding on a bus or the back of a truck?

That is so bad, it's comical. I'm not the best picture taker, in fact, last year I borrowed a picture to use on ebay from Gail (with her permission, of course) but I think it would be better to not have a picture than one like that.

Makes you wonder why it's only at .89 with no bids yet.


Sandy, Diana is right. There are all kinds of sellers out there. I'll admit it, I sold a lot of the extras we had from SSMC05. The reason being, why did we need 4 sets of everything we received and we received a lot of items. But, I waited some time before I sold them (mostly because I didn't know how to ebay). However, I'm sure there were some who listed them before they were even off the ship.

And, just as sad, I'm sure there are some who go on the special cruises just to be able to sell the items they pick up on the ship which are exclusive/limited edition items to that cruise only.

For those of you in chat on Sunday night inquiring as to what a diaper cake is--I have received permission from my "client" to post a pic of the latest diaper cake I made for her!

It's made of 60 size 1 diapers (man those things are teeny!), a Carters receiving blanket, a Carters sleeper, 6 washcloths, a duck bath puppet and 6 travel sized baby toiletries!

Our guide has actually called us and left a message every trip. I really wish we could add on, maybe someday........

I am trying to catch up, but had a booster club meeting last night and bowling league this morning, so I have been off the boards for almost 20 hours. At the rate everyone is yacking, it will take me that long to catch up!

I guess that's why there are 9 of them already listed on ebay. Not to mention the 6 or so which have already been sold. They are not for everyone and we all have the right to do what we want to do with them.

What I don't agree with is that some can buy extras from DVC (because they are members) and then re-sell them on ebay.

I think it's really nice that everyone is getting one. But I can see the argument where it's not right to resell them if bought directly through DVC. In that case, it's going to end up costing someone (us??) more because there are those ebay sharks looking to make a profit.

Nope. I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. It's America. That's called capitalism. I think ppl have a right to buy as many as they want from DVC and do whatever they want with them. Once they own them they can hang them, give them away, or sell them. Heck, they can even throw them out if they want.

It's really no different than ppl buying the Elmo's and reselling them. Last year I was able to snag a couple of extra Nintendo DS's and I sold those on ebay.

Now, if the DVC'ers were stealing other DVC'ers prints and then selling them, then that's wrong. But if they want to buy them to resell them, there isn't anything wrong with that. Why? Because we ALL could do that, it's fair.

No blinky's here. Those things were really cute but my feet did not like them. I'm bringing my Athens.
