The documents are making their rounds!

Soon we'll all be sailing away.

Two weeks, plus two will be the day!

Wow I am pretty far behind on the list of posters. 14th place :confused3 Oh well I guess I had better post more and let the real life stuff wait!

SQuid
That's the spirit. We'll soon be leaving real life behind anyway, so you might as well get a jump start!

Hey gang!

Just wanted to say I won't be in chat tonight. Ken and I are going to the movies with some friends. It's our first celebration concerning my good news yesterday. The celebration will continue on the Wonder!! :cheer2:
Congratulation, again, on the good news.

Job Schmob! Who needs the headache!
Totally agree. But then I think the lack of paycheck might cause an even greater headache in the long run.

Exactly why we don't have parties at home anymore. :crazy2:

We love entertaining but usually only do it during the summer since we have a huge deck (56') off the back of the house and plenty of room for a lot of people. Plus the back yard is big too - great for a whiffle ball game, game of croquet and volley ball.

Does that have anything to do with the Mickey Mouse on your headboard?

Don't go there!! I shouldn't have asked!! :rotfl2:

Ok, there's NO WAY I could do anything in front of Mickey!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Yea Baby! 52 oz. of your favorite beverage.
20oz - No Way! that's just a sip :rotfl: 32oz - Ha! I'm still thirsty :lmao:
OMG, don't let David see this.
nono.gif
He collects cups/mugs and would definitely insist on this one. I, on the other had, and sick of trying to figure out where to store his collection. If he were to bring this one home I think I'd go over the edge!

Thanks. I wonder what happens if they don't show up before we leave. It'll drive me crazy if that happens!

Always better to let someone you know and trust fix things
So true. And I'm lucky because I happen to have a jeweler I know and trust living under the same roof. ;)

yeah, I only really clean my house a couple of times a year, when we're having a party!!! :rotfl2:
Nope, not doing the party thing here. I'm so not into cleaning before, worrying during, and cleaning up after a party at the house, so much so that we had Ian's 1st birthday party at a hotel.

I think I'm finally all caught up for the day. I wonder how many pages I'll have to wade through tomorrow. I'm hitting the hay now cuz the trim guys are supposed to show up at 7:30 in the morning to finish up their part. I can't wait until this work is done, unfortunately it looks like not until after we get back from the cruise.

Ok, I just had to respond to this. The girls' bathroom is a Mickey Mouse themed bathroom and I have a wood Mickey wall hanging on the wall above the toilet. Well, Chris used to say that he had a hard time using that bathroom because Mickey is staring at him going to the bathroom. :rotfl2: Well, since our master bath is STILL being remodeled, he's forced to use the other bathroom. And, he just has to deal with Mickey "looking" at him. :rotfl2:

Good Morning all,

It's 3am in Detroit and all is right with the world, well for a few hours anyway. We'll see if miracles happen sometime around 7pm tonight.

For those of you who are interested in knowing when you first wake up and read this we are 15 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes & 44 seconds away from sail away. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???

I also see that AnnMarie has thrown down the gauntlet, so to speak and wants to knock me out the Gabby 10 club. My response? You can have it. Being the only person in the club with a Y chromosone is a bit "disturbing." I guess this all just took place at an opportune time, since I have alot of extra time at work I am afforded the opportunity to browse the boards more often. Not alot to do when your sitting at a desk waiting for a phone to ring or person to walk in.

Anyway here is my opportunity to catchup...

Ok I GOTTA ask ... um where do you shop for tshirts that run out??? :rotfl:

Why at the place to buy playoff t-shirts. Karen and I have to be appropiately dressed for the game. Do you think just any old regular season t-shirt would do? Really:snooty::sad2: :lmao:

I love your smiley! :)

I'm not really too keen on it, actually the idea behind it. I'm allergic to bars, specifically metal one, more specifically once occupied by men wearing eyeshadow, names Bubba, and eyeing me like a porkchop. Just bad juju..

WOO HOO! The UPS Gods smiled upon our doorstep this afternoon.
After getting the HAPPY DANCE out of the way  it is now officially time to knock the stale,caked-on pixie dust off of our luggage, unpack from our last trip and reload those suckers with new and/or clean stuff!

The tricky part is keeping the boys (our two yellow labs) from finding out. They get so excited :Pinkbounc :bounce: when they see us pack. They think they are going on a trip and look so sad and disappointed when we are dashing out the door on our way to the airport. :rolleyes1

Sometime we wish we could put "Guide Dog in Training" vests on them and sneak them on board but the fact that they are WAAAY past puppies and the blatant nature of their disregard for our commands would blow our cover.

Oh well.

BTW Did I happen to mention...

THE DOCS CAME WOO HOO!
