You've never colored your hair because you don't have to! I pay big bucks to get mine lighter, so consider yourself lucky, not uncool!

I've been trying to get Bruce to just touch up his gray for years and he won't hear of it. I've even warned him that I was going to do it while he sleeps!

On a side note--about coloring your own hair---if it's close to your own color and you're doing it all one shade--it's a piece of cake. If you're going from dark to blonde or highlighting.....leave it to the professionals. TRUST ME ON THIS!!! I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE!!

For anyone looking for an Elmo this was posted on the budget board. We don't have a KB Toys around here or I would go and try it.

TMX Elmo can be ordered at any KB Toys stores

I have a friend who is a manager at KB Toys. According to him each store is allowed to pre-sale 15 TMX elmos, and they should be in the store by mid Oct.

they will not tell you about it in the store, but if you ask them to pre-order it for you they have to if they didn't already do it for 15 customers. also there is a 1 per customer limit

Hey just posting to keep everyone informed on Cheryl as she didn't feel that she could explain it well enough. Anyway we just got back from the surgery consult, and this time through we had the CT Scan results (all 5 lbs of them since it was an upper and a lower). The doctor looked them over then we sat and had a conversation.

He felt that Cheryl could go as much as 6 more months before surgery and not be at any more risk than she's been in the past few years, but that he wouldn't wait that long. He also felt that surgery was not something that was a must before we went away. Basically he feels that her gall bladder has been in this shape for around 5-6 years, and that it's time to get it out, but that the need is not immediate or an emergency.

He felt that the adjustment period of not having a gall bladder anymore would be much more of an impact on our trip than that of waiting, maintaining it, and getting the surgery after vacation.

Thank you all for your concern for her and your thoughts for her. I guess this means that I can't put off my getting my wisdom teeth out next week.

Cindy - let's blow off the Chicago DVC meet and road trip to this one

I mapquested it and it's about 4 1/2 hours from me. It would be doable if we made it a weekend --- or a very long day.

I suppose it depends on which weekend they definately decide to have their meet.

I personally will be in Michigan the weekend after the cruise. Our plane gets into O'Hare at midnight and Cameron & I are going camping at 7 a.m. the next morning.

to Cheryl! Here's to hoping that your vacation is some well-needed relaxation. Take those pain-killers when needed and relax as much as possible!!!

I wonder if Gail and John would be up for the MI meet too. Thats not real far from them I am SURE Coleen wouldnt mind being away for a weekend in Nov. I will have to see how it lines up with schedules etc. but we might be going to MI also.............
