Job Schmob! Who needs the headache!

Gosh, I wish I could say that and still vacation as we like to.....although I do have some perks which allow me to post while I work.

That kind of sounds like whistle while you work. ;)

UPS will deliver on Monday.

I was checking an online order and it is scheduled for a Monday delivery.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

John bought me a new wedding band while we were in St. Kitts. Since it was Sunday they didn't have a jeweler available to reset my diamond. That was fine with me, I'm not sure I wanted them to do it anyways, so we took it over to our jeweler here who happens to be our neighbor.

Thanks, Linda! Sorry, I didn't see the question.

Actually, one of the members of our cruise meet had volunteered to get us seated together if possible and linked our dining reservations with DCL. We all assumed that we would be on 2 separate tables but near each other. When we got to our table the first evening we were all sort of shocked that they had put 2 large tables together and there we all were. I will say that is was a bit crowded and it did make it difficult at times for JoJo and Sean to get us all taken care of. They really did a great job though.

Michael

Thanks, Michael. I was going to ask the first time and then it slipped my mind. No hard, as most day's my mind is on overload anyway.

I really tried to get big tables but they told me that they couldn't do it because of tips for the waitstaff. Each section is allowed 18 people total. They were willing to allow me to have 1 section with 20 people but that was definately an exception and as it turned out, we could do a table of 10 anyway with meeting their other requirements. So, I worked with them as best as we could.

We do have one area of the dining room for our early seaters - totally 5 sections!! party: party: Just being close and on the same rotation is going to be wonderful.

Especially since we have so many people in our group --- but I'm not naming any names, just yet! ;)

Congratulations on the new band. :cool1:

I think it's a good choice to use a jeweler you know.

From the 3rd DVC e-mail:

Disney Movies
This is a banner year for Disney Movies, including both the anniversaries of classic Disney films and the debuts of new favorites like Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. For Day 2, we'll roll out the red carpet to celebrate some of our favorite Disney Movies, with Guest Speakers and a live performance of "The Golden Mickeys" providing the lights, camera, and action. Also, be sure to pack your best buccaneer attire for a rowdy pirate-themed party!

Day 2 would be Monday not Tuesday.

As for rotations:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT

3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

the rotation listed above is new news for me. i had no idea it was already psoted. my 3rd DVC e-mail didn't have this info. below was all that was sent to me and must be different....

Ahoy,
The third edition of S.S. Member Cruise 2006 Cruise News has sailed your way! In this edition, we'll talk with the leader of Disney Vacation Club about why he's looking forward to our journey, share more about our voyage's daily themes, and give you the inside scoop on a swashbuckling Guest Speaker who'll be joining us onboard the Disney Wonder®.

Making your day
If you sailed aboard the S.S. Member Cruise last year, you know that part of what makes our event so special is the unique daily themes. This year, we'll be "Celebrating Disney Milestones," with each day dedicated to celebrating a different part of the Disney magic.

Disney Vacation Club
The first day of our cruise will celebrate milestones that hit close to "home"—Disney Vacation Club milestones, of course! Get ready to enjoy an all-day birthday party once you're onboard, starting with the festive "birthday gifts" you'll discover in your stateroom. Then, search for hidden Disney Vacation Club references that we've placed around the ship, or just relax and reminisce with family and friends as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of our community.

Disney Animation
We've sketched out several exclusive events for our day at sea, as we look back on the rich history of Disney Animation. As part of our celebration of animation milestones, you can take part in fun onboard activities, enjoy extraordinary themed drinks, and hear from Guest Speakers who have helped to create animated Disney characters. You may even be able to meet a world-renowned Disney Character Artist—a Guest who will be revealed in the coming weeks!

Disney Music
Whether you prefer to wish upon a star or sing along to "Hakuna Matata," you'll love Day 4 of our journey, a celebration of classic Disney Music. Start your day on a high note by joining your friends and neighbors for a Member Group Photo on Castaway Cay. And at night, don't miss your chance to experience a one-of-a-kind musical performance that will honor beloved Disney songs from the past and present.

Looking back with Jim Lewis
Members aren't the only ones excited about our upcoming cruise. The S.S. Member Cruise also has become a cherished tradition for Jim Lewis, President of Disney Vacation Club. Jim says he's particularly excited about this year's theme, "Celebrating Disney Milestones."

"We often hear how Disney Vacation Club has helped Members add a bit of magic to family milestones, so we looked at our 15th anniversary as a terrific opportunity to celebrate this Member milestone as a community, along with other great moments in Disney history," Jim says. "Disney milestones hold special places in the hearts of fans around the world, and I'm looking forward to celebrating these moments with the most passionate Disney fans on earth."

Join Jim for an exclusive event during our voyage, where he'll talk more about Disney milestones and look back at some of his favorite Disney moments.

Read up me hearties, yo ho
To help us celebrate during the S.S. Member Cruise 2006, we've invited some exciting Guest Speakers to come aboard. We're especially pleased to welcome Jason Surrell, a Disney Imagineer who wrote the book on pirates—literally!

As a show writer for Walt Disney Imagineering, Jason brings an insider's perspective to his book Pirates of the Caribbean: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies, an in-depth look at the beloved attraction and film franchise. While writing the book, Jason had behind-the-scenes access to the Disney Theme Parks, explored the Disney Archives, and visited the Pirates of the Caribbean movie sets during production. Dead men tell no tales—but we're sure Jason will bring a number of stories to enlighten and entertain any Disney fan.

Jason also will appear for book signings during the cruise, so be sure to pack your copy of Pirates of the Caribbean: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies.

Full speed ahead
As our voyage approaches, keep an eye out for more editions of S.S. Member Cruise 2006 Cruise News. In upcoming editions, we'll talk with other celebrity Guests and give you a sneak peek of more special onboard activities!

See you real soon,

Oh yes. I've seen that shyness in person and in pictures! I've got something special planned for you young man! :lmao:

I'm glad you guys aren't buying the shy act.

This is the same guy who won the Best Looking Lady contest during the Quest game on the 11 night cruise. He wore my lime green slip on heels, and thanks to some other Diser's he had a very nice purse and a beautiful shade of lipstick. Then the "Good Looking Ladies" had to strut their stuff around Wave Bands.

The second part wasn't from the DVC e-mail. It is what Cindy posted when she got the dining rotations from DCL.

The largest table is one table for 14 in each dining room. If tables ended up at 18 it is because someone talked their server and/or dining room manager in to putting them together once they were on the ship.

I've learned accommodations can be made. On one of our 7-day cruises, we were at a table of 8. It was a retangular table and the couples that sat at either end would get frustrated at not being able to hear all the conversation. So we asked Sid, our matre d' if he could get us a round table. He did the next best thing and found us an oval table.

I'd be willing to bet that table of 18 was a retangular table. Sometimes I think smaller tables are more conduscive toward socialization.

Or as John would say SEA SLAUGHTER HAS PICTURES..............

Oh, those must be when Mr. Shy thought he was John Travolta.

You didn't miss the information from one of the updates we received from DVC.

In working on linking dining for the early diners on this thread, the rotation information was given to me from DCL. I then posted that this is what the rotations are as of this time. Everyone will be assigned to one rotation by DCL. As of right now, no one know which rotation anyone will be assigned. That information won't be known until we board the ship.

I hope that helps.

just got home from work and our docs are here :Pinkbounc :dance3: :bounce:
Why do they have my maiden name on the doc and not my married name? is that right?? : :confused3

Did you recently get married? Did you cruise under your maiden name before?

If you fill out the on line forms that is what they will use, but a call to them wouldn't hurt either.
