2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 4

It appears that we have quite a WONDERful drunken group gathering on the beach! Myself, Cindy, Stacy, Julie, Ann Marie, Diana, and even Jeff dropping in to imbibe!

Three for the men in our lives, willing and able to keep us supplied with alcohol! Honestly, though - they have much to gain from our inebriation. I, for one, am much easier to deal with when I've been plied with alcoholic beverages...

(And, Cindy? I'd be a bit nervous as well, if Curt were as accomodating as Gary appears to be...)

Oh, I'll be there too, and I'll definitely be recruiting Chris to help (well, that's only until he's had too much to drink, then we'll keep him sitting otherwise he'll spill the drinks). Actually, when he's been drinking, you can't keep him sitting, because he'll have us laughing hysterically with his "Chris" antics.

You guys think that you need to get your act(s) together?!? We leave for Disney in 20 hours. Things I still need to do:

-Go to two stores
-Laundry
-Dishes
-Cut the front lawn
-Clean litter boxes
-Pack
-Set up the VCR for my Tigers stuff

Hmmmmm... I think that's it. No pressure.

I really wish that we could "pop" over to WDW this weekend to just say HI to you guys, but it's just not gonna work out. We were there this past weekend to visit my friend from Atlanta, and we'll be there next weekend with my mom (and her fabulous CM discount). Darn that gas for being SO expensive, because otherwise I would do it!!!

WOW, it's hard to believe that it's been a year and now we're down to only 30 days until we leave again for SSMC06!!! I can't wait!!!!

This wasn't a USPS error, but once we got an envelope with those "credit card convenience checks" in them.....I think it was from the AOL VISA we used to have.....well, in the SAME envelope as mine were SOMEONE ELSE'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. There were 3 or 4 checks based on MY account and 3 or 4 based on SOMEONE ELSE'S!!!

The envelope was sealed when it got here, so it was definitely an AOL VISA error!!!!

Actually it was an error on whatever Lettershop they used. Most inserters have a detector that should error if more than one piece goes in but mistakes do happen.

LOL Lily - I did do some shopping today for some things to keep the kids busy at dinner, however, a very good friend of mine mentioned that she did the same thing and the kids didn't touch them so I think I am taking it back.

Julie, I'm not sure of the kids ages coming to your wedding, but I do have a "keep busy" trick. At places like Michaels, Wal-Mart, JoAnnes -- they have these tubs of stickers. I've found that kids love to create pages and pages and pages of these stickers and it's very easy busy work.

I do have to forewarn you if you go with an idea like this, do not empty them out of the tub or you will never get all of them back in. I have no idea how they stuff so many into a small space, but it's really a challenge to try and pack them back up. I usually end up with a big ziploc bag of the extras.

I am going to catch seven buckets of grief for this I just know it... Hey there were bound to be some blank spots so keep the guesses coming in... Bending my hint rule I will say some have come close, others not so close. Some have been out there, some close to home. And I don't even want to speculate on the guesses of Posideon, Cast Away & Titanic. Lets the GAMES continue.

It was just scary based on WHAT it was. Of COURSE I shredded the checks, but I thought about what would happen if someone not so honest had gotten MY checks!

We did get our welcome bags today - but they are wrong and I am very sad. I must call the company tomorrow. The bags look great, but we paid for zippered bags and received regular non zippered totes. NOT what I paid for and I am NOT happy. Do not mess with the bride 5 weeks from her wedding!

We have those stickers. They are the foamy stickers, right??? I buy the girls them, and dump them out into a large ziploc too. Then, I just give them a handful or so, to make what they call "sticky pictures". It's a great craft and they have a blast doing it.
