WHAT you were in a room that had heat and was INSIDE on the ship? I froze my patootie off at meals. I will volunteer to sit under the lights!

You've got it. It was like an oven in there!!!

I look at the DIS as a bag of Jay's Potato Chips - you can't eat just one

ACK Gary - not JAY's please no Jay's or Lay's or frito anything!

LOL sorry, my family has a small potato chip business in Iowa and that's all we eat. STERZING's are the BEST! :cheer2:

Yes, Cindy THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your hardwork!!!

It's really not that big of a deal with the linking dining. You all are making me feel like I should have done more.

I just truly hope it works out. I'll feel better about it all once I hear back from DCL that everything is good.

Here is my disclaimer:

If you are unhappy about your seating companions and I can't imagine that anyone from here would be but...., please pay a visit to guest services. I'm sure they will be able to work it out for you. I don't mind doing the work until we get on the ship, but once we are there, all bets are off. I'd hate to feel like I'm afraid to come out of our cabin for fear of having to deal with someone who isn't happy with their seating.

Deal?

Speaking of bringing trays of drinks to the ladies on CC. Do we want to designate an area we can all meet around. That way people can keep an eye on each others things etc. What do you think? Any suggestions? We've always had good luck at the far end of the family beach. Isn't as crowded as the closer end. It also isn't as far to the heads up bar or to those going to the stingrays.

I LOVE this idea! Um so which end is this, the one closer to the ship or farther from the ship?

Oh and is there shade? I come with Mr. Farmer Tan pale man who might scare others.

Oh most definitely, Mary!!! I don't expect people to hang around with me all the time, I just know that it was awesome to see someone in the hallway, or by the pool and stop to chat. It was just SO fun!!! I also loved seeing everyone's pictures in Shutters while I was looking for mine.

Can you tell that I'm getting excited about this?!?!??!

I am the same way you guys! It's probably why we are not ask excited about the Med cruise - because we can't seem to get into the group as much!

Plus it would be awesome to have a place to relax and you know if we want to get into the water for someone to watch our stuff.

I'm going next Friday with Casey and I will watch to see what happens unless I get there late, then I'll go to City Hall and ask where they are herding us this year. Also, they sell the leftover pins from the previous shows at City Hall. For those who don't know there are limited edition pins for each night of the Halloween Party and you are allowed to buy 2 each for your night but they sometimes sell out. If they don't you can buy what's left at City Hall.

The first HP was last Friday but I haven't read any reviews of it yet.

Jeff - I read the reviews yesterday and there is no herding at this point because they are NOT closing the park for an hour between the party. I also read that non party goers can stay in the park, see the parade, see the fireworks and basically hang out. I'm a bit disappointed because while I want the pin, I'm not paying that much money to have a full park that night! I hope it changes and look forward to your review.

Has everyone who is going to use Disney Rewards cards requested the money to be transferred to their Rewards cards? If you need a new Rewards card, I think it takes about 3-4 weeks to get it.

If you need a new card you can get one from guest services at downtown disney. they give you the new card and then you call disney visa on your cell and they transfer the points. we had to do this once. easy peasy. :)

In addition to what Jeff mentioned, if you already have a card check the expiration date because our card expires 12/2006 and if there are reward dollars left you LOSE them. Clearly that won't be happening to us as I have lots of things to buy :rotfl: but wanted the rest of you to be aware.

Can we invite MaryJ too? Please???

I know she hasn't guessed a disaster of a cruise (yet) but.....

:rotfl2: :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Last year, Mary & I were like school girls, giggling during the lifeboat drills. We had said on the SSMC05 thread that knowing the way things were going, we were going to end up sailing with Captain Henry.

For those of you who don't know, the vacuums on the ship are "Henry" vacuums. They are the cutest little things. My son Walker last year would drop down on the floor to check out the face on these. They look like this:

We had a huge discussion on the thread about vacuums and what type we owned. So, during the lifeboat drill, Mary & I are standing close to each other, in our cute & fashionable life jacket when they mention we are sailing with Captain Henry. Mary & I busted out laughing. People were staring at us -- I know my family thought I was absolutely off my rocker (be nice, Gary, I know your reading ;) ).

It's a moment that I will treasure always. :)

I want you to know that while we were in different lifeboat drill areas that I too was laughing - ok and squinting cause we are in the sun. So those of you in cabins by us be prepared, bring your sunglasses, wear your sunscreen!

WHAT?!?!?!? What's the point in buying $30 tickets when you have to deal with the crowds of people that didn't pay???

Amy - I would love to, I just have to bribe the parents further as we're already shipping a bunch to Disney for welcome bags. Don't ask - this wedding is out of control!
