Oops, fell off the radar. My parents came down to trap the raccoon that's been coming around eating our cat food and to seal our driveway.

Turns out the raccoon didn't come around last night and a cold snap came through and it's too cold to seal the drive.

But there is no way I can catch up with what I missed here! I'll just have to hope you didn't all talk about me while I was gone!!


New Mouse Matters up for those who wanna take a look. Pete got this one and said "these just keep getting better and better." Of course, *I* think so too!!

Btw, Curt, it cost my parents an extra $94 to get down here thanks to your friends.

81 in a 65 is a bit too fast I guess. Thing is, just before they got pulled over my dad realized he was going that fast and braked a bit (didn't brake b/c of the HP, braked b/c he realized he was going that fast)....but too late. He got caught from the air. I told him to use cruise control but he doesn't have it. I know without my cruise I cannot maintain any sort of steady speed.

YES! You get the 10% if it is a 7 night cruise and a $200 onboard credit!

I am going to catch seven buckets of grief for this I just know it... Hey there were bound to be some blank spots so keep the guesses coming in... Bending my hint rule I will say some have come close, others not so close. Some have been out there, some close to home. And I don't even want to speculate on the guesses of Posideon, Cast Away & Titanic. Lets the GAMES continue.

I just called DCL to find out about a group discount if a lot of people rebook onboard. Apparently, you can only get one discount and they equal about the same. So, best thing to do is book onboard to get your 10% and the onboard credit is $250 and then when 2008 dates are released transfer the dates to keep your discount and you can always use me as your TA.

Cool, thanks Sandy. I thought you were going right before the cruise. The family told me they wanted to go when I'm home in November and assigned me the task to get tickets. I tried but the only seats available were on the very edge of the orchestra either left or right or the very back of the balcony. We'll go sometime next year when the weather gets nicer in NY.

Has everyone who is going to use Disney Rewards cards requested the money to be transferred to their Rewards cards? If you need a new Rewards card, I think it takes about 3-4 weeks to get it.

It's really true!! I have to say that I'm a complete sap, and I've made some really great friends on this thread. Several we have met last year, and some when they've made their way down to WDW. And some, we won't meet until October, but I know that they are going to be great friends.

On SSMC05, I had a great time, but we seemed to see the same people over & over again. Most of those became really good friends. But this year, since we're going to CC twice, and if we're going to "hang" out at the beach together, I know that I'll really get to know everyone better. Also, if a lot of us are eating on the same dining rotation, it makes it even better.

Ok, I'm done, but I really think that this is going to be a BLAST!!!

Jim, I'd like to introduce you to Robin, Cameron & Cindy. You guys have fun during the lifeboat drill.

I know she hasn't guessed a disaster of a cruise (yet) but.....



Last year, Mary & I were like school girls, giggling during the lifeboat drills. We had said on the SSMC05 thread that knowing the way things were going, we were going to end up sailing with Captain Henry.

For those of you who don't know, the vacuums on the ship are "Henry" vacuums. They are the cutest little things. My son Walker last year would drop down on the floor to check out the face on these. They look like this:

We had a huge discussion on the thread about vacuums and what type we owned. So, during the lifeboat drill, Mary & I are standing close to each other, in our cute & fashionable life jacket when they mention we are sailing with Captain Henry. Mary & I busted out laughing. People were staring at us -- I know my family thought I was absolutely off my rocker (be nice, Gary, I know your reading ).

It's a moment that I will treasure always.

Hi Everyone!
I have been reading this thread for a while and we have just upgraded from dial-up! So I like to introduce myself Ceal, dh Bartel, and ds Joshua age 5(soon to be 6). We own at BCV. We are in cabin 5140. We just moved into to our new house here in Melbourne FL so we will been taking a cab to the port. Moved in Aug. 3rd and Joshua started school Aug. 14th. I am still unpacking boxes and I need to start thinking about packing for the cruise. I think I may loss it. Oh and our guess for the challenge is James and The Giant Peach. We cannot wait to meet everyone on the cruise.

I hope the change the lighting in Parrot Cay while they are at it. Amy, Diana, remember how HOT it was sitting under those lights our last night for dinner. It felt like we were in a sauna and sunburnt on top of it.

I certainly hope we're in a different part of the dining room this year.

By the way, everything for early dining has been sent into to DCL. I hope to hear that we're all set soon.

WHAT you were in a room that had heat and was INSIDE on the ship? I froze my patootie off at meals. I will volunteer to sit under the lights!
