Not to put any pressure on you, but if there is going to be linking for late dining, the information is going to need to be to DCL soon.

If you need a contact at DCL, let me know.

Cindy...I do need a link at DCL...Cubbiebear has asked to be linked, so now I have 2 families!! :cheer2:

Important Dining Poll:

For anyone who may not go back and read previous pages.

For those of us who have decided to link with others from this thread for dining, I'm going to take a poll as to what rotation you would prefer so that I can note that to DCL.

Here are the options:

1. Triton's 5:30 This would be TAAP
2. Animator's 5:45 This would be APPT
3. Parrot Cay 6:00 This would be PTTA

4. I don't have a preference

If you could please post your preference here, I will pick up the results.

I don't want any hard feelings, so whichever rotation has the most votes is what I'm going to request.

Keep in mind this does not mean we will get this rotation, it's only a request.

Thanks.

And, the results so far.......(not counting our latest cheater, Amy ;) ). Easier for me to bookmark as well:

#1 Tritons 5:30 ---- 0
#2 Animators 5:45 ---- 3 (Jeff, Cheryl/Todd & Roxann)
#3 Parrot Cay 6:00 ---- 5 (Kevin/Unixadm, Gail, Mary/Mark, Diana & Julie)
#4 I don't care ---- Janet

To keep things simple and fair, I am going to limit voting to 1 vote per family. I apologize for not thinking about that sooner, Todd & Mark.

One more addition --- sorry. I would really like to get the information to DCL by Friday, so by noon on Friday, I'm going to go with the majority of votes. I hope everyone understands.

I haven't kept up with what my table mates would like to do but I think option 3 looks good. On SSMC05, I liked having breakfast in AP and it looks like that's where we'd eat with this option.

Last year, I believe I wore a dress to dinner one night, a two-piece skirt outfit another, a pair of dressy pants/top and can't recall what else I wore. I do remember it was chilly at dinner a few of the nights and wished I had brought a sweater so this year I'm making sure I pack one. Tom wore a suit or jacket every night last year but he was thinking about not bringing a jacket this year because he felt like he was over-dressed compared to most of the other people. I just told Tom that a lot of the men in the group won't be wearing a suit or jacket to dinner and he said that will make it easier to pack. We aren't planning to have dinner at Palo either.

Ok I'm caught up on reading all those pages.

I just want to say congrats to all the milestones that were reached.

P&P to Cheryl. I hope everything turns out ok.

I'm a little out of it this week. Jeff is in Long Island all week so it's been just me and the kiddo. I had a meeting at the school last night and we had scouts tonight. Worse part of this week is I got a call late last night from Jeff's sister saying his uncle passed away. We knew it was coming but thought he would make it a few more weeks (he had cancer and was going thru chemo). Well the Funeral is out by Philly Pa this Friday and
we will not be able to make it. Sorry for the downer.

ATTN LATE DINERS!!!

THIS IS THE LAST CALL TO LINK DINING RESERVATIONS!! PLEASE PM ME ASAP IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE LINKED.

I am definately not a dress up girl. I pay 10.00 a month at work to our "fun committee" to wear jeans everyday!!!!!!!

I did buy that cute wrap skirt from the Disney store this summer though....

Erin, I would so do that if I had to. I'm lucky I can wear jeans to work everyday and not pay a thing!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

Fed ex came today. But Mike was expecting pool chemicals and so I didn't answer. Well, Mike just got home and said "do you realize there is a Fed ex letter out here addressed to KT?" HUH?

We opened it up....................

KT HAS WON A SHOPPING SPREE AT BUILD A BEAR WORKSHOP!!!!!!!!!!! SHE WILL HAVE 45 SECONDS TO STUFF AS MUCH "STUFF" AS SHE CAN INTO ONE OF THE BOXES YOU TAKE YOUR BEAR HOME IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE'S ALLOWED TO INVITE ONE FRIEND. SHE IS TAKING NICK!!!!! :)

Of course, being the good mom that I am, I talked strategy. Usually KT and Nick could spend 30 minutes deciding on one outfit. I told them that just WON'T do. I told them they are going to have to grab stuff without thinking about it. Go for the good stuff that's easy to stuff in a box. Go for the things that will sell well on ebay (and they can keep the profits and take it to build a bear and buy what they want without rushing)

Last year we saw a couple at Palo that both had shorts and t-shirts for dinner. Now I really hate to dress up but that was ridiculous. :rotfl:
I thought they had a dress code for Palo??? Must not be Disneylike to enforce it. :confused3

Stacy, sorry to hear of Jeff uncle, thoughts and prayers for him and his family!

Steve

CONGRATS to all those with post milestones!

Morning everyone - I'm am back in reality land (home). Came home to a nasty storm that hit Michigan yesterday.
Looks like I have lots and lots of catching up to do - as much as I tried to read a bit when I was gone, I'll never know everything that was posted.
Hope all are well - :surfweb:

We had over 5 inches of rain at our house since Monday everything is saturated and water in a lot of ditches. The FD has been kind of busy and I have been going to quite a few meetings. Sorry about being a little less active but the next couple weeks will be real hectic around here. I work the FD today, 24 on the ambulance tomorrow then OT covering Harvest Days in Dwight on Sat. After that we are going to the friends and family sale at Michaels. Sunday FD. Monday 24 on the bulance. Tuesday Budget and Appropriations meeting and then Board of trustees meeting, my first ones that I HAVE to go to. Weds FD. Thurs 24 'bulance, Friday grandparent breakfast at our grandaughters school then setup for our annual FD chicken BBQ that will be ALL DAY Saturday (its our only fund raiser and we serve about 2700 chicken dinners in 7 hours) Sunday FD and cleanup from Saturday. I THINK I am off on Monday the 25th

YIKES it looks bad when I type it all out like that. :rolleyes1

Anyway I hope you all have great days today!
