Hi all....

Steve...great looking veggies! Our tomatoes are about to fizzle out, so yours look really good!

Cindy....hope your mom is feeling better soon.

Ann Marie....looks like Agassi to me, but then I HAVE been watching too much tennis!

We spent the day yesterday with DD and her DH and his family at our local theme park, Holiday World. The just opened a new roller coaster this year. It's the third longest wooden roller coaster in the world, so of course, I had to ride it. Bad decision!! It seems those wooden coasters shake me up more and more every time I ride one. About 2/3 of the way thru the ride, all I could think of was "Is it over yet?" Today the left side of my neck and my left shoulder blade are soo sore. Even as I'm typing, I have the ice pack on my neck. Other than that though, we had a great time. It has been cool here the last few days, but the sun came out yesterday and warmed things up enough that we were even able to do the water park there.

I checked in at chat last night, but it was late when we got home, and everyone had left. Try to catch you all next time. Hope everyone enjoys their holiday. I think we're going to do a little shopping today since I don't feel up to working around the house today.

Member Gallery Update!

I have added a new family to the gallery. Come and meet Romandel's family: Jackqui, Barry, Cameron and Tyler.

Robin your comment about Ian and the dishes reminded me of a pic our daughter took of our 1 y/o grandaughter STANDING on the open door of the dishwasher to reach for something. :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Too cute. Is your daughter a scrapbooker, too? Seems only us crazy scrappers would take the time to grab a camera before rectifyin ght situation. ;)

Those veggies look delicious. And your photo is quite good, too.

Roxann, glad your daughter is no worse for wear. But how scary.

Exactly Amy, it took me some digging, but the official report is the poison didn't kill him, the barb puncturing him did. Even the ones out at Grand Cayman which are out in the wild, the barb is more like a long fingernail. For it to have been long enough to have punctured his heart, the ray he was messing with must have been a huge deepwater ray, not the kind the Caribbean ever sees.
I read the barb on the ray that got him was something like 10 inches long. It's just so sad. :(

Well, I'll give you something to talk about.

THE WEBSITE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

Spent the entire morning getting to all that I'd been meaning to, added the following:
  • The Third DVC email for anyone who missed it
  • Updated Party Bus info, got this fancy table and everything
  • Put up images and a map for the Precruise Meet
  • Added a whole bunch of clipart for everyone to use, including the bumper sticker from Erin, and, remember the Welcome Mat?
Whew. Time to take a break after all that. :) Let me know if I missed or goofed anything.

I will be looking later. DH is taking us out to Breakfast! YUM YUM

Thanks for all the well wishes for DD. She is fine, but we will see how she acts next time we go boating.

I am going to try not to let DD watch ANYTHING about Steve Irwin. She was hesitant to do the sting rays to begin with. We have done the stingrays in the Gran Caymans and they are pretty cool. I don't pick up wild animals though. I touched them but that was it!

Looks like we need a few posts with pics from LAST years cruise to perk up the thread today.

These are some of the pages from my scrapbook

Speaking of MNSSHP - I mentioned this in chat last night and no one could remember the exact specifics.

When and where is everyone meeting for the Halloween Party? All everyone could remember was the flag pole in Liberty Square but no one knew a time.

I thought it would be a good thing to put in the mini-navigator I'm doing.

Since we aren't doing MNSSHP I don't have it written down any place.

Is there anything else that anyone wants included in the navigator? If so let me know by the October 1st deadline.

Thanks!

Especially for you ladies that find it difficult to get the man in your life interested in scrapbooking
