2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 4

Long ago I promised Diana that I would take photos of the pink cruise shirt I ordered. Here it is without any retouching (or fixing of the model's hair ) taken in our family room against the taupe wall and without a lot of outside light - front and back. This is a medium - for reference I wear a large perfect fit Old Navy Tshirt and this medium is a bit larger than that.

apparently we moved the camera a bit on the next one.

and just for kicks - my pirate shirt (clearly I took my own photo while Matt was out)

OK, picture this in your mind's eye. We're in Central Florida, the sun is out - nice Sunday afternoon. We're huddled around the computer "watching" the Tigers game on the MLB play-by-play. This would be the same thing as sitting around in the telegraph office watching the tickertape come off the machine about 100 years ago... We are sad, sad people...

BUT Two little tidbits though
WE'VE CLINCHED a playoff spot for the first time in 19 years!!! (Just three years after losing 119 games!!) TIGERS GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS

And we've pulled even with that little known American League team from NY

If we can just pull the division we are in real good shape for homefield advantage.

Hi all:

I haven't posted since way back at the beginning of this thread, but have enjoyed reading everyone's posts. I have been thinking the same thing as cgcw, when are our documents supposed to arrive? Its getting close, and I just can't wait. My DM and I are going on this cruise. My DH will have to handle the 2 DD's (19 and 15) while I'm away. DD19 is at college and DD 15 is a sophomore in high school. This is in the middle of marching season for her so she can't miss any school. That's okay though since we are coming back during their spring break!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

DIS Navigator


I have a preliminary navigator layout done for the front and back. This is not final as I still have to update some of the deck plans with anyone who sends in info over the next week. Also I can change any info on the front based on feedback. Please if you see I left something out or mis-spelled something let me know. You won't be hurting my feelings. For example I noticed after I saved it that I don't have the date for the Wishes cruise so I'll go back in and add that on the real version.

Curt - at first I thought you and Karen would be over at the ESPN club at Boardwalk to watch the game and then I remembered, it's football Sunday, isn't it!?! I remember when dh wanted to go over there and eat on a Sunday and there was something like a 3 hr wait. Glad to hear that you got to see the Tigers win their spot in the play-offs.
