So, do we have a winner?

I kind of let the ball drop on this, didn't I.

I do know there is one other person that has the same exact street number as mine. I was hoping he'd pop in but apparently he missed the question. Any guesses as to who it might be??? :firefight

I do think that AnnMarie has the lowest street number for her address. That is really strange to me. And, Diana, a house number 1 --- was that the start of the block?

The other thing I didn't notice in the replies is those addresses where it's something like 82N852. Those always throw me for a loop. How do those people really know where they live. Sorry, anyone with an address like that, I just know it would bother me.

We looked at homes in the next town over from us. I couldn't even consider living there as all the homes on the block, circle, culdesac and court all had the same street name. To me, they should have been different street names for each -- block A, circle B, Culdesac C, court D. I know I never would have found my way home if that was home.

I'm willing to do whatever everyone else wants to do. I hope I didn't appear to be making the decisions. I was only going along with what everyone seemed to think was best. From what I've been reading, it does sound like LTT is the best place to meet. We'll just make out way to LTT a few minutes before the meetin gtime, so that we can see the characters.

As I asked in a previous post, can someone who has done this before let me know if this works like E-ride night? DO you go somewhere to get bracelets and then just stay after the park officially closes?

Sandy, I wasn't thinking you were taking over at all.

My thought was that I'm not sure I can get my grumbling kids to stop on their way over to one of the rides (most likely Splash Mountain) to visit with DIS friends again.

I do know that in the past for MNSSHP, you were either given a wristband upon entry or had to go to a specific location to pick on up. I know for the EMH in August, Pirates was the closest spot to do that, not sure if it will be the same for MNSSHP.

I think if you are coming in the gates any time after 4 pm or so they give you the bracelet at the turnstyle.

If you are already in the park there are usually a few place that you can pick up your map and get a wristband by turning in your ticket. Best thing to do if you think you will be in the park earlier is go to City Hall and ask. They will know for sure.

You are funny, aren't you. :sad2:

Garfield doesn't have the same house number as you? Wow I thought he did.

Ok my guess is Squid/Coleen.

Not sure if anyone else on the thread is (was) a fan of Steve Irwin like we are. If so his memorial service is being televised on Animal Planet tonight at 9 pm Eastern/ 8 pm Central.

Oh, then it would drive you crazy to live in St. Pete. In my neighborhood alone, there is a 15th Street, 15th Way & 15th Lane. I live on 15th Lane, and you wouldn't believe how many times people get lost trying to find my house. They'll call from one of the other 15ths and say, I can't find your number. Then, I ask if they actually went to 15th Lane, and they almost always say, I turned on 15th.

For those players where I've failed to fill in your real name please fill in those blocks or PM, I seem to have neglected to write them down and I prefer to call people by real names. (Too many years in the Army)

I know that the last time that we dined at LTT before MNSSHP, someone came around the restaurant and handed out wristbands for the party after you showed your ticket. Otherwise, if you're already in the park for the day before the party, there are locations to pick one up.

Thanks, Mary. My family are big fans. (that sure doesn't look right, should that be my family is big fans? That doesn't look right either.)

Hmmm, how about Thanks. My family will be watching.

I hope the PTA meeting tonight gets over quickly.

Yep, it sure does help the post count! :thumbsup2

The worst I do is :stir: up trouble on other threads. The one I currently am working on is about whether you can park at BC or BW while not staying there. The answer is yes because of the valet parking which I will take full advantage of before the cruise. :thumbsup2 .

I am usually the class :clown: but have been called  by some and :hippie: by others. I like to think of myself as a :joker: but not a :jester: . I try not to get  at anything but if things make me :furious: I turn into :darth: then my enemies must :duck: or they will get a :headache: .

Gary, I couldn't find much better than this to respond with, there really isn't much attacking smileys to choose from.

Yowza Jeff.
Heck of a post!

We're back and had a great time. The 8-day cruise turned into an 8 1/2 day when we had to turn back to St. Thomas for two medical emergencies. We didn't get to the NY port until 3:30pm Sunday. Just glad I wasn't traveling for business this week, since we didn't get home until 7:30pm.

I did things I never thought I would do before. I sung karaoke, not one, but three times! The first time I was so nervous, but after that it was such a rush. People who go to karaoke are so cool, fun and supportive. The only time I heard boos was when this one woman did a really, really, really bad version of [i[Material Girl[/i]

I also entered the hairy chest contest. I still don't believe I did that. I thought I had a chance, but there were some guys that should have been classified as primates.

It was interesting to compare the Carnival Legend to Disney. I found the service just as good. We had a great wait staff and cabin steward. The ship is a bit more flashy than DCL and I appreciated the non-smoking on DCL, since there were lounges we avoided because of the smoke.

Food: The food was excellent, however, there weren't enough non-meat/non-shellfish choices. Many of the fish choices had some elements of shellfish in them. DCL has more choices, including separate vegetarian and lighter fare sections. The one thing I did love was the 24-hour soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt machines and pizza station.

Shows: I'm used to the DCL production style shows. The Carnival shows were okay, but DCL is clearly better in my view.

Staterooms: The balcony rooms are about the same size. Carnival has really, really, comfortable beds. I guess they are known for them. Not having the split bathrooom didn't seem to be as much of a hinderance as I expected.

Out friends were first time cruisers and they enjoyed them selves too. As a matter of fact, Pearl was the first one to do karaoke.

Now the trick is - how do I keep this tan for five more weeks until I cruise again?

And who wants to fill me in on what I missed in the last 152 pages? :rotfl:

Sounds like you had a good time.
You cracked me up with the hairy chest contest :chewy: . The crazy things we do for entertainment!
