It was worth a try. Maybe I could interest you in a Kungaloosh from the Adventurer's Club. :teeth:

Seriously, I admire that you don't consume alcohol. :thumbsup2

Do they even make a non-alcoholic Konk Kooler? :confused3

I know Mary does as we had some at Mark & Mary's house a while back.

I would bet they do --- all they have to do is omit the alcohol.

Me....I want the real thing. :drinking1 :drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1

Garfield, dear, you haven't forgotten that you are going to commission the server to bring us an entire tray of them, have you?

I'm sure our kids will find their way back to the ship without the help of Mom & Dad. It's us who should worry. ;)

I did know that when I mentioned that above. I figured my next offer would be inhaled...Donuts for The Man! We could give you donuts. I know you wouldn't miss that opportunity. It goes with the job.

And they say cops PROFILE. Jeeze

I thought it was by the Liberty Bell?

:confused3

You're right, I couldn't remember which it was. It's still the same area but I don't know when they rope it off. That is where the old man tells the story of Icabod Crane (really a hoot if you haven't heard it). When the horse comes by, the old man backs up into the area with the Liberty Bell. I know they wouldn't let us stand there when the parade was so we moved across the parade route and had fantastic seats for when the horse came by. I'm going on September 29 with Casey so I can see what they do then and report back. The last and only time I did the Halloween party was in October 2003 so my memory is a little hazy. I do know we got our picture taken while the parade was still going passed us because there was a lull between floats and the line was really short.

Cnogratulations! Now they need to hold off the Twins to host game 1. Otherwise, you know who they will play? The Yankees starting in NY.

Not that I know of. Other people use non-DIS smileys all the time. My husband's best friend, Pete Werner, hasn't said I couldn't use them (I threw that last line in for Mary!!!!) :lmao:

Anyway, the smileys come from a place called bestsmileys.com HTH

Thanks again. I thought since this was a family site, you know no cursing/explicit type language. I'd like to know where the one of the guy on the toilet was found, that one was really funny. :lmao:

So, I take it, the games over when you get a correct guess?

If it's soon, are you planning a sequel???

although my ressie is at the plaza, I also thought we agreed to meet at the bell at 5:30 by the tavern for trick or treating as well.

Did I have it in my siggy at one point? (my smileys there change depending on what the topic of Mike's article is)

I get my smileys either from the DIS or from bestsmileys.com

Welcome back! The biggest thing was...

   HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SANDY AND JUDY!!!

Thanks, guys. Sorry I missed all the best wishes. I surprised myself when on Saturday night, we went down for the final karaoke and I sang Elton John's Your Song to my wife for our anniversary. I really didn't know I had it in me, but now I know there is nothing I won't do to debase my self on the DVC cruise. I just may never show my face on this thread again after that :rotfl2:

I think most of us are eating at Liberty Tree Tavern so the majority would rather meet by the Liberty Tree. What time are we meeting? The reason I ask is Disney ropes that area off in preparation for the early parade so a spot near there would be by the Picture station at Hall of Presidents.

That works. We're eating there for lunch, because we just love the lunch menu. We'll show up and just squeeze in with all you guys somewhere.

We never did decide on a time. I've never done MNSSHP before, so I don't know the logistics of the event. I'll have to defer to someone with more experience.

Nope - Stacy guessed that yesterday. See Curt's listing of guesses one page back.

What are we guessing? I'll guess Tron :rotfl:

Nice to hear the review on Carnival and the comparison to Disney. DD's dance troupe has been asked to perform on a Carnival cruise in May, and we have decided to go too. I was afraid it would be a big let down after DCL, but now I'm more optimistic. Thanks, Sandy!

To be honest, any difference we noticed was really minor. The only big difference was the smoking. It kept us from doing some things we otherwise would have enjoyed doing. But, we found enough to do. As past Carnival cruisers, we even got a Welcome Back everywhere we went :goodvibes

Sandy - thanks for giving us a review of Carnival. Glad you had a great time.

Curt has a challenge going. He's putting up a screen shot from a movie and showing us one piece every 2 days (on the even days). First one to guess the correct movie wins a Konk Kooler (or drink of their choice) on Curt & Karen. Tron was guessed twice yesterday. :)

Amy, I can totally understand. In fact.....

The night of MNSSHP is the only time we're spending in the parks pre & post cruise. So, I could very easily see my boys saying dinner is enough -- they want to do the rides.

So, at this point, Sandy, if you could change me to a maybe, I'd really appreciate it. Not that I don't want to see anyone again, it's just that park time for us this trip is a premium.

I'm willing to do whatever everyone else wants to do. I hope I didn't appear to be making the decisions. I was only going along with what everyone seemed to think was best. From what I've been reading, it does sound like LTT is the best place to meet. We'll just make out way to LTT a few minutes before the meetin gtime, so that we can see the characters.

As I asked in a previous post, can someone who has done this before let me know if this works like E-ride night? DO you go somewhere to get bracelets and then just stay after the park officially closes?
