See, I can tell he's from the state up north.....he couldn't do the math!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

35 days 8 hours 43 minutes 25 seconds = 3.055405 × 1015 nanoseconds

Come on now -- by your own admission you Googled for this the first time....

In order to make this work, you must know, the "Big House" is the name of the State up North's stadium. More like a "Big Bowl" but that's a different story....

Did you hear that the drinks served at the Big House this football season are warm and they don't put any ice in them?????

Yup, it seems like the student who had the ice recipe graduated last year!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Getting ugly here from the state with the most NUTs.... (Take that as a good thing or a bad...)

Door magnets finished! Using a couple from our May cruise and then made two more new ones as well as the small DIS ones.

One more thing to check off the list! :cheer2:

I suppose I should take this as a hint to never visit Mackinac Island. We did as a kid and I remember being in the back of the motor home with my Mom. Laying on the bed with pillows covering our heads. Hmmm, that's probably where my fears came from.

The only time I have been there was a looong time ago, but it was cool. You don't drive across a bridge to get there, I thought, the bridge is only if you want to go into Canada. The only way onto the island is by boat as they don't allow cars there. I'd like to drive up there someday and stay at the Grand for a night :)

Happy Anniversary

2006 is the first year for the HHR. That rectangle back does give me plenty of room. Plus the back seat does that 60/40 split fold down and the front passenger seat fols down too. I was able to fit a twin size box spring in that puppy!

POOR Pluto!!

That puppy was just fine! :dogdance:

Yep, just what Mary said!

 Happy Anniversary

Look at that, Gail's been gone for two days and we're falling down on the job remembering all these special days.

We're just back for a late lunch/early dinner around here. Were working on getting settled in for the start of week. I'm planning on being in chat. Is anyone else?

Walker had a soccer game -- a tie 1-1. :cheer2:

No sooner did we sit down in the restaurant but a huge clap of thunder hit and it started downpouring :umbrella: Good thing for us, it was a quick storm and done by the time we were done in the restaurant. :) We're back in this cycle around here again this week where they are predicting rain for the next couple of days. I guess, to look on the bright side, at least our new sod will not need to be watered.

Since we seem to be getting the rains and storms again my beef roast will be roasted instaed of rottiseried. Still having potatoes and green beans with it though.

If you could I'd like you all to keep a dear friend of a DISer in your thoughts. Some friends of mine from the Dec. 2004 and May 2006 cruise are traveling together on the 11 day cruise that just left today. They are calling it the Mom's Escape cruise. 3 of the ladies are DISers, one other the wife of a DISer and the 5th is a good friend of one of the DISers. Sharon, the friend, got some tragic news after she boarded the ship. Her sister had just died. So she had to make arrangements to leave the ship and fly back to her home in AZ. The other 4 ladies are continuing on without her. Please keep Sharon and her family in your thoughts.

Thoughts and prayers for her, her sister and her family.

We haven't seen Amazing Race....yet.

But Cameron & I watched Survivor the other night for the first time. Cameron wanted to know the next night if it was on again. I think it's going to be our show this season.

Gary's cousin was on one of the first or second season. We've never even seen that. I should rent it from netflix this winter. I hear she's one of the most disliked participants -- Jerry Manthey -- if anyone watched back then. I know my devout Catholic MIL & Gary's Aunt's were very proud of their neice when she later posed for an adult magazine.

I can't believe that you didn't watch it. I loved Jerry and I was hoping she would win but you are right not many people liked her. :rotfl2:

Ok, a busy but very successful weekend around here. My DS (the older one aged 9) has wanted to be a pirate for Halloween. Not necessarily Jack Sparrow but a pirate. I tried to get him a Jack Sparrow costume at the Disney Store but was told that they sold out just about the same day they came in (this was weeks ago) well guess my surprise when I walked into the Disney store today to get my litho of the Little Mermaid that they were out of when I pre-ordered it and there was a whole wall of Jack Sparrow costumes, wigs etc.

So for a surprise for DS, I picked one up. It was a bit pricey $49.50 CDN plus the wig but I figure he can wear it on the cruise for Pirate Night, MNSSHP, at school for Halloween and then out trick or treating.

He will be so surprised. Also found out that you can start to pre-order the Cars Movie in October and it will also come with a free lithograph.

Jacqui - I bought Nick the same coustume and wig.. BUT the wig did not fit his head... no clue why? So we will be picking up a pirate hat from DTD prior to the cruise.
