All I see is a red X. :confused3

I can still remember that guy arguing with me saying I couldn't get on the same bus as you because we were going to VWL and you were going to SSR. But now I really think what he was trying to do was get me off of Dan's bus. :headache: I should have listened to him!

Erin,

WOW! I would love to win $5,000 from Lowe's or Home Depot. All the NEW things I would buy.:artist: :laundy: :flower2: :rose: :happytv:

Happy Birthday to Connie, Tom and Marla

This is just a quick note as I have to sign off for the weekend camping trip. I was gonna take the puter but dd said "aw, mom don't take it" So I'm not. She's got good values :-)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Cindy,

We went to Cypress Cove, its here in Woodridge. Its part of the park district, but its very good! We have season passes there.

GMA did a story on the top 5 water parks yesterday and Blizzard Beach was ranked 2nd. The top park was somewhere in Texas. I don't recall where or its name.

Talking about the CC gifts - what are jelly bracelets (and if anyone says bracelets filled with jelly, I'll smack 'em with Mickey's glove ;)

I have a question for you all. Everyone has been talking about waitlists for BCV. I don't hear much talk about people choosing to stay at other DVC resorts before or after the cruise. I'm curious, what makes BCV so special? I mentioned that I was waitlisted for a studio at BCV to a TA/DIS friend of mine and she was like, why would you want to stay there? Her opinion was that it is not like the regular rooms at the Beach Club, there are no rooms with good views, they are away from everything and the rooms are getting run down. She is a big BWV fan. I wanted to try BCV because we stayed at the Beach Club once back in 1993 and really liked it, so I guess I imagined the experience would be similar.

Sandy - are you familiar with the yellow LIVESTRONG bracelets that Lance Armstrong made popular? Those are jelly bracelets. They sell them at WDW with Mickey heads on them, different groups use them for fund raising, I've even seem some cruise meet groups do lime green ones (instead of the t-shirts and buttons like we are doing).

As for Beach Club Villas - I think the number one draw there is being able to use Stormalong Bay. We've only stayed there once and I won't judge from that one experience because it was only for a night and we were so beat I asked for any room that was ready - which turned out to be a smoking room. Still the room was clean and without problems. The view wasn't as good as what we have had at Boardwalk but it wasn't bad.

Try it again. I changed over to photobuckets. I think my days of using dotphoto are over. :badpc:

I think it was more our pile of luggage that he was hoping to get out of hauling.

Sandy, the biggest draw for Cameron (11) is stormalong bay. Walker hasn't seen it since he was a baby so he doesn't have any opinion. Gary & I could take or leave SAB. But.....I got to WDW to go to the parks, I think my kids go to WDW to go to the parks 1/2 of the time and swim in the pools the other 1/2 of the time. So, that's why we're hoping our waitlist comes through for after the cruise.

The other thing they like is Beaches & Cream and my favorite dinner restaurant is Cape May. But, we usually do those two whether we stay at BCV or not.

Cameron & I stayed there last October and while it wasn't horrible, the issue I had with the room phone not working and not seeming to find someone to care about it still is kind of raw to me.

My personal favorite is SSR followed by VWL. The one place I don't care for at all is BWV -- I know I'm in the minority there but I didn't like it at all the one time we stayed there. I hated our room located down the long hallways (but surprisingly the hallways don't bother me at VWL) but somehow I didn't like them at all at BWV. I found I could tolerate the walk if I did it outside and went into the building at the entrance closest to the room. I'm not normally a claustrophobic person but something about BWV just didn't feel good to me.

Could it have been Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels? Last week the Travel Channel did a countdown of the top 10 water parks in the country and ranked Schlitterbahn #1. Blizzard Beach was #2 in their ranking also.

We like staying at BCV for its proximity to Epcot.

In My case, it's less staggering, I mean walking distance from the Party of the Senseless! ;)

It just made sense to be close to where you are going to be drinking! :rotfl:

OK, that's better. And that top black one with the beige straps---that's not ours, so don't push that one on me! We had so much stuff because we had 2 kids in diapers, and one on formula. One whole suitcase was diapers, swim diapers and formula. And what did I bring, like 8 pairs of shoes?

Is that what they are called? You learn something new everyday ;)

Our next two WDW vacations are @ BCV. DD likes the pool and with Food & Wine and Holiday happenings @ Epcot we wanted to be closer to where we will be eating.
