Well we got brunch which I'm assuming they are going to move to Tuesday.

Let's hope!

I got Mark into the snorkel excursion but couldn't get me in.

Very strange.

Did you book the snorkel excursion for a time that conflicts with the Palo ressie? It would be my guess that it "grayed out" your name for that excursion since I suspect the Palo ressie is under your name and the times overlap or conflict (that the system can tell) for you, but not for Mark.

Back to bed I go.

And I'm off to bed.

I think the problems with both the brunch and the spa is that those are set up for the normal 4 day cruises which have CC on Tuesday and sea days on Wed.

That probably explains it, but I sure wish someone at DCL thought of and fixed this in the system before today.

If you booked brunch it grayed out your name on Wednesday because it thought you were already doing something. Same thing happened to me.

I get the system doing that for the Walking/Kayak Tour in the AM, but not for the EcoTour at 1:45 pm when my Palo ressie is at 10:30 am.

Okay so our booked things are:
Mon - floats
Tues- nothing
Wed - Palo brunch 11, ecotour 9:45, floats, manicure 5pm

We're all a little confused as to why Palo is on Wed. and hoping it's a mistake OR they have BIG plans for us on Tuesday, LOL.

Well - the alarm went off at 1:45 am... so I snoozed it

and then I OVERSLEPT!!!!

we did get Palo ressies for WED (one of the last ressies available for a party of 2 as we only had one time to select) and I hope they change that to Tuesday once they wake up and realize.. and I mean today waking up, cause you knlow only us crazies are up so right now Matt's eating at Palo with someone and I am taking the eco tour with someone else

Wednesday - Eco Tour @ 10:30 and Palo @ noon for Brunch (could only reserve for me though)

I wanted 2-day float rental but that wasn't on the list so I'll have to wait to do that.

Darn it I just realized I made both Palo ressies for me only, I didn't realize I had to check both and now it won't let me correct it.

I also am grayed out on everything because I was gonna try and get that 11:15 glass boat on Monday but only DH name is allowed. What's up with that?

I guess I'll be calling at 8am.

You only need one name on a Palo reservation - no worries there.

Not sure why the 2 day rental isn't showing up. Unless they aren't doing it for our cruise. I know they offered it for the double dip cruises on the Magic.

I'm thinking it is one more thing that either DVC overlooked or DCL didn't get programmed in right. The excursions all seemed to be set on the right days but it is like no one thought of changing the dates on Palo or the Spa reservations.

I'm soooo tired!! As luck would have it, I couldn't fall back asleep at 3:40. I didn't actually sleep until 5am. I don't think I can convince Emma that she needs a nap today either.

Here's my itinerary:
Monday-- Stingrays 11am
Banana Boats 1pm

Wednesday--EcoTour 10:30am

No Spa for me, I'm really holding out in hopes that the Spa Villas will be ready for our cruise and I can book something in one of them.

No Palo for us either. I couldn't dream of missing dinner with all you guys!

Wednesday -- Parasailing 11am (for Gary and Cameron)

And she has Palo brunch at 10am, I'm just going to assume they just automatically switch the day. Isn't that what they did last year?

I couldn't reserve the 2 day bikes or combo pak for them either. I really don't see why they wouldn't offer it.

I was able to fall back asleep pretty quickly but 5 am came awful fast. I actually didn't get out of bed until closer to 6. Got a long day ahead of me but what can you do.


I did enjoy our early morning chat. Let's see if I remember everyone: Ilene, Annmarie, Mary J, Diana, Amy, Jeff, and me. I'm thinking I'm missing someone. If I am please forgive me.

As those of you who were in chat last night know, I had some difficulty making reservations. Annmarie (BCVOwner2002) and I were the last ones in the chat room and she offered to try to make my ressies for me. So I PMed her with my information and Wonder of wonders.....it worked!! The really strange thing is after she "broke the ice" so to speak, I was able to make a Palo ressie from my end!

So that being said, our plans are:

Extreme Getaway Package (includes stingrays) Monday 11:00
Banana boats for girls Monday 1:00
Banana boats for guys Monday 1:30

I hope that my choice of time means that we'll be in the stingray pool with Diana and Cindy's family. Really glad Annmarie made this one for me because this time slot is no longer available!

Cabana Massage for two---it says Tues, hope that really means Wednesday. If not, maybe Ken and I will be getting a massage together on the ship.

Dinner at Palo on Wednesday night at 6:00. Not sure if I'll keep this one or not. We've never eaten at Palo's and I need some convincing from others if it's really worth it. I just decided it's better to make the ressie now, and I can always cancel it later.

One more time a big Thank You to Annmarie for all your help last night. I know you have meetings all day today, and as I laid in my bed last night, I said a prayer that they will all go well.
