Janet - I know what you mean. I was up for a while after making the reservations for our May cruise. Of course everyone was coming back to the meets thread to post what they did or didn't get.

Guess I could get to work earlier! Except I doubt anybody will be there at 5:00a.m.!

It just makes it more real after the ressies are made for everthing!

Good thing DD is spending the night at a friends too!

That's going to be my problem. Plus, I'm one of those people who once I'm up, that's it, I'm up, no going back to sleep.

I woke up at 5am today in a panic thinking that today was the day to book. I had to turn on the tv to make sure it wasn't monday. I never did get back to sleep.

I never did get to post to Stacy and Cindy to have a great trip, I know it's too late, but have a great trip guys!!

You can do the ressie later in the day, but you are not going to know what is left. Then you will end up doing the Ressie Run once on board the ship.

I tried to get on the website before and I couldn't. I'm hoping it's some sort of glitch that will be fixed by 3am! I'm sure many of us will be posting around that time so we can talk to each other if we have problems.

I'm just hoping to not have all the problems I had last year! I had a heck of a time getting the girls reserved in Flounders.

Sorry won't be joining you early birds tomorrow morning. We don't need Flounders, not doing Palo and can't think of anything else we are wanting to do on CC (other than the banana boats and that's taken care of thanks to Mary).

I love online check-in!

So in preparation for tonight booking of excursions I thought I thought I would do a test run of getting into the reservation. Then I figured since I was already there I might as well do online check-in. We did it for our May cruise and it was fast and efficient. Well this time it was twice as fast since it had stored all our vital information like passport number, address and emergency contact info. Sweet! We're all checked in, forms printed and in my travel case. Just have to wait for our documents that will have the bahama immigration form in it.

This is the first time being on the West Coast is a good thing for booking with Disney.

Heck a couple of years back I made CRT reservations and was up at 4:00 am doing it.

This time I stay up until midnight (about the time I go to bed anyway) make my ressies and go to bed. No middle of the night for me. Yippee!

I did our online check in for the September cruise and then went in to do the Member Cruise. It was nice to have all the important info already there. Add another to the "I love on-line check in"

Flounders is the nursery for infants, 1 yo & 2 yo and unpottytrained 3 yo's. You have to make reservations and from what I hear, they are sometimes hard to come by.

We also had a freak thunder storm here this afternoon. I always turn the computer off. I hope that this isn't gonna happen at 3:00 a.m.! I guess I'll have to take my chances then!

I'd have to agree with that. When Mary made my banana boat ressie, it did not show up in Safari. Someone else said they couldn't see it in Firefox. I tried IE and there it was!

Just wanted to give an update on our storm repairs. Not only did the storm get our wireless router, but it also fried the phones in our kitchen and family room. The kitchen phone was cordless with two additional base stations, so of course those won't work either. Our Tivo was plugged into the same jack as the family room phone, so the phone repairman said that at least the telephone portion of the Tivo is probably shot too. Recently I started updating the Tivo wirelessly through the internet, but since the internet router is out until I get a new one, I'm up the creek. Thankfully shows that I want to record for the next week are all ready in the queue. The poor phone repairmen were here from about 9:30 until after 5:00!

We also noticed just today that the lightning must have jumped from the phone line to our pecan tree. You can see where a lot of bark is off the tree near the phone line to our house. The lightning spiraled up the trunk of the tree from that point.

Now I know why people say you shouldn't talk on the phone during a thunderstorm!!

I think I should get a commission for "selling" all these DDE cards now!!

Seriously though--it worked out to if you think your family is going to need to actually pay for 1 or more sit down meals about and beyond the meal plan because of whatever reason, and you plan on going back to WDW within the 12 months, the DDE is economically better.

Remind me - the DDE is only for AP holders, right?

Yes. I think you can be a FL resident w/out a season pass and still be eligible to get one, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
