Good morning, everyone! We had a busy day yesterday. Emily and I went to her friend's birthday party, while Chris took Madison and my niece, Kailey, to his boss's party. Then, we met them there. We had a LOT of fun, and I got to talk to Tim & Michelle who are sailing with us too. They are getting VERY excited about going on the member cruise, since this is their first member event and their first cruise.

Today, we have another birthday party to go to, but luckily this one is just across the street!! No travel time, there! Then, after the party, I'm off to the scrapbook store to pick up some stuff for my secret sister for my September scrapbook event.

I'm heading over to the scrapbook store today too! Only it's all for me! :rotfl2: AC Moore has a 50% off coupon good from 1-5 and I'm hoping to pick up a couple of cartridges for my cricut. We're going to Ohio on Saturday and Bruce needs to make sure I'm happy so I'm on my best behavior there! :lmao:

Speaking of which we leave on Saturday for a week and I haven't even remotely begun to think about packing or what to bring. It just isn't the same when I'm not going to WDW. :sad2: I'm sure you guys will see me around here alot this week, procrastinating!

I have a question for you e-bayers. The auction I won for the DCC piece the other day showed - and I paid - $12.55 for shipping. I also paid $3.35 for insurance. Then yestereday I received an email from the seller saying I owed more for shipping because she sent it by a different method than stated in the auction. My question is, should I be upset about this or not? Personally I feel I should have been contacted before the change/increase in cost but since this has never happened to me before I'm not sure if it's normal or not.

Robin, this isn't right and I wouldn't pay it --- if the auction was set up with a different shipping method. If the buyer chose to ship a different method (and especially if it was due to the PO being closed, they the buyer absorbs the additional cost. $18+ is a lot of different. And, if the buyer did not have a box for the item prior to shipping, they shouldn't pass the cost onto you afterwards. When I've had to buy a box for a specific item, that is built into my shipping/handling charges before the auctions starts.

JMO.

I'm already planning a great big shopping trip to Easton, that will keep me out of inlaw trouble for a while! :lmao:

I'm hoping to get to COSI on Sunday to check out the Star Wars exhibit. I read they have the original Yoda puppet on display! :cool1: I'm such a geek! :yoda: :darth: :chewy: :ewok:

No procrastinating, Diana! That being said, I'm the QUEEN of procrastination!!

Have you gotten your Cricut yet, Diana? I'm trying to decide between the Cricut and the Wishblade. I bought the Cricut from QVC when it was on, and it was shipped this week. The Wishblade is more $$$, but it will cut any TTF font, which I have a TON of. Chris says that the WB is the better deal, since you don't have to buy cartidges, but you have to have it hooked up to your computer, where the Cricut is a stand-alone unit. I'm SO confused!!!

Cameron's on his way to camp. This is him! :jumping3: This is me! :sad1: :worried: I know that he's going to have a great time. It's just going to be a long week for me. I could have kissed the scout master when he told me he'd give us a call later in the week. It will be so nice to hear that Cameron's okay.

We were up and out at 5:45 this morning. It's going to be a long day. We're trying to come up with a plan to do something special with Walker (who told us he's going to miss his brother too). It's kind of dreary and wet here this morning. Walker asked to take a ride to his favorite store -- but they aren't open on Sunday. Maybe we'll take him to see Cars later.

The Wishblade is a better deal because you don't have to buy cartridges, but for my the Cricut was the right decision because I rarely scrapbook at home and don't pre-plan my layouts before I leave for a crop. I'm a member of a couple of different cricut message boards and there are several people who own both the cricut and wishblade. Almost everyone says cricut is a lot easier to use and they prefer it because of it's portablilty. But they all still love their wishblades too and don't regret getting it.

If you do plan on buying a wishblade, I'd recommend becoming an I Remember When Hobbyist.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAIL!!:wizard:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!pirate:

Diana - that's great info on the scrapbooking items, I know eventually I am going to want one, but I would prefer a portable one that has TT font abilities - lol too much to ask?

I'd like one of those too! The cricut does have a usb port on the back of it that Provo Craft says may be used in the future for software updates and "such". So, who knows, maybe the technology is there and someone somewhere will find the way around the cartridge.

Tonight, while procrastinating, I'll take pics of some of the stuff I've done with just the basic cartridge. If I get the cartridge I want today, I'll be busy playing with that and probably have something even better to post!!

Happy Anniversary Robin and David!

Happy Birthday Tom! :bday:

17 Weeks! Wow!

I have a WDW window sticker on my whiteboard at my office. I wrote, "I'd rather be at WDW!" and originally had the dates for our May trip, October trip and May 2007 trip. While I was on vacation in May someone at my office changed my whiteboard and wrote XXX days until I go back to WDW. Now every morning I change the date for our October trip. It's the first thing I do even before I log in or update my daily voice mail message. It's a great way to start the day.

Okay so now that I've written the paragraph above I guess this is a good question for the day . . . . Is there anything that you are doing on a regular basis (besides for this thread) to keep you excited about SSMC06?
