Great idea! :thumbsup2 Isn't that right by the quiet pool at BC also? For those of us who have older kids who would be bored at the meet, it might work to do some pool hopping while we're there. We can pool hop to the quiet pool at BC, right? It's just SAB that's excluded?

Hmmm, that stroller looks familiar in this picture. I know I've seen it someplace before. :scratchin Oh, my, it looks like it's Princess Madison's princess: coach! And, none other than her prince charming sitting there waiting to wheel her away.

Talking about Dinner, last year there were a bunch of ppl that went to Ohana.
I was wondering if there were any dinner groups yet and if so, does anyone have room for 2 ppl? If so send me a PM.

It is a great location since everyone gets free parking and its close to the eatery.

If Emma liked it, maybe I'm not giving the movie enough credit. Walker's anxious to see Over the Hedge -- I haven't heard him ask about Cars but if he does, I'm sure Gary will take him.

Emma loved it!! But I'm thinking she fell hook, line and sinker for Disney huge effort advertising this movie. :lmao: Any time we go to any store, there's something Cars there. Chapstick, bandaids, yogurt, cereal, fruitsnack, motor oil, sheets, towels, party supplies.....you name it for the last two months, we've seen it. She woke up this morning telling me all about Mater and the tractors and how silly Mater is!

AnnMarie, you definitely need some pixiedust: !!!

I hope Shawn gets back to normal soon.

Amy, here's some pixiedust: to keep those storms away!!

Mary, thanks for scoping out the room, it looks great!

Here--it's freezing. :cold: We went out about 10:30 to mow (all that rain made the lawn look like a field) and I had to go back inside to get re-dressed. I ended up wearing a tshirt with a heavy fleece over it, shorts, with my thick fleece pants over them, WOOL SOCKS with my crocs and GLOVES!!!! I still froze! The calendar says June 11th, but my body was telling me it was March this morning. :sad2:

I told Bruce today, if it doesn't stop raining and get warmer here soon, that's it, the house will be for sale by the end of the summer and we're moving to FL. We haven't seen the sun in days here. :sad2:

Disney has been doing a lot of Marketing for Cars. We even made a trip over to MGM to go see them.

Cindy - yes the Solarium isn't far from the quiet pool. So there is always the chance to swim before, during or after the meet.

Oh they are adorable!!! I know they won't be there in October, but if they are, Emma will flip over Mater!!

My little girl is such a tomboy. She loves trains, pirates and old rusty tow trucks.

Great. I'm sure I won't have to twist Cameron's arm about that idea. :cool1:

Yikes, Diana. I'll stop complaining about our cooler temperature now.

I hope June returns soon. pixiedust:

Maybe this'll help tide her over:

Seriously, the two cars are also part of the stars & cars parade, so I think they'll be around a long time, they're made really well, the pictures don't do them justice.

Amy hope the storm just brings a little rain and no problems for you.

Ann Marie That is my worst nightmare. We have so much in our basement. I hope it all dries out fast for you.

I am trying to talk my dh into applying for an asst. chief's job at the Reedy Creek fire dept. His friend told him about the job and he is going to find out tomorrow if it is still open. I really don't think we would move but it could be fun. The girls think we should go today and find a new house. I told them that I really doubt we would move to Fl. At first they were upset about not going then they realized that they would have to go to a new gym and now they don't want to move. I can't believe that the only thing they care about is gymnastics.

Mark and Mary that is a great meeting spot. We are going to stay in cocoa beach so we will miss out on the fun.

Saw Cars today, it was excellent. I Agree with Mark that I don't think that they are going to go away Also I don't know if its going away or not but they added trains stores around the Railway in Epcot by Germany for Flower and Garden.

I'm waiting to congratulation you too!!

Come on, Stacy! :hyper2:

Well we had a good extended weekend!
We had good flights down to Raleigh NC. The weather was in the mid to high 80's all weekend.

We had dinner with Jeff's family Thurday night after getting in. We did a little shopping at a big strip mall but other then that not much happened.

On Friday we got to see his Sister's place then they had the graduation party at a local church hall. The graduation itself was at 6pm that night at the H.S. football field. After the graduation we caught a bite to eat then went and saw X-Men 3 (the movie was good, you need to sit thru the credits).

Saturday we went into Downtown Raleigh to go to some museums. We saw the State Capitol Bldg, did the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences and the Museum of History. We walked around a little bit, but on the weekends downtown is like a ghost town. We couldn't even find anything open just to get a drink so we headed over to the mall.
We walked the mall a little bit, stopped at the Disney Store (of course) and the greeter gave Nick a little Cars checkered flag. I also had to get Dad a t-shirt since the Carolina Hurricanes are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Everywhere you looked they had stuff up about the Hurricanes. They even had the RBC center opened last night for people to watch the game on the big screen since the next couple of games are in Edmenton.
After the mall we headed to Durham to go watch the Durhams Bulls baseball team. It was a really nice park. They lost but we had a really good time.

Today we basically just got up and headed home. We woke up to a big storm that passed thru quickly (thank goodness). Lots of lightning and heavy rains but it ended just before we left the hotel.
Now I'm just pooped and want to go to bed for a good nights rest in my bed!

Edited to add: There are you two happy now!? :confused3 :lmao:

Congratulations on 1000 posts Stacy!
