Hey gang! I don't remember where the "laundry party" was going to be, but it looks like I'll be joining in because our waitlist for a studio at BWV came through. I just happened to be on the DVC website, and there it was! Would have prefered BCV, but anything close to Epcot will do for F & WF!

We may have to give up our reservation. DH and I are both starting new jobs and don't know if we will be able to get time off for the 11 day cruise and the members cruise. But I am not giving up just yet!!

Carol, you'd rather give up the member cruise than the 11 day? You might be getting 11 days on the other cruise, but your getting our company on the member cruise.

Seriously, I hope it works out for you to join in on both.

Hi all - not sure if anyone went to chat. We just got in from seeing Cars - awesome movie! Be sure and stay though all the credits as well.

I was in chat for about 10 minutes or so. It locked up on me and I sat there without anything being posted. I guess I broke it as I was the last one I saw post. I logged out and figured if it was having problems tonight, it wasn't meant for me to be there.

Cameron & I headed all over shopping tonight and didn't buy a thing other than dinner at Red Robin at Woodfield. I'm looking for some new shelves for my daycare and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. We headed to Walmart, Meiers, the Mall, and even K-Mart. Diana, it was very different in there from what I remember the last time I was there. That's where I originally bought my white shelves for the daycare and now I'm looking for lower 24" ones to go under our windows in that room. Somehow or another, one of my glass windows was broken last week. I have a little guy who likes to put match box cars on the window sill and I thought if I had low shelves along that area, he wouldn't be able to do it anymore. But, no luck finding any. It was nice to stroll around with just Cameron -- we haven't done it in a while and usually he's not anxious to go out with his Mom. He did keep his 5' ahead of me pace at the mall - but willingly sat with me in the restaurant tonight.

Gary & Walker are camping for the weekend. Gary looks like he was punched in the face with a huge black & blue area on the entire bottom of his chin. The other night at Cameron's baseball game, they were warming up and one of the Dad's pitched a ball to Cameron, Cameron swung and the ball hit the plate and then hit Gary in the jaw. It's quite a sight --- I told him to tell everyone on the campout that his wife did that to him. I know he won't but he did say that a lot of people stared at him this morning at work.

With all the talk about DINGS, I have a really bad desire to take a long weekend trip with just Cameron & Walker. I know there are studios available our 1 free weekend in August. I just need to find airfare that I'm willing to pay for the 3 of us. I'm kind of spoiled now that I booked our October flights for the 4 of us for under $600. And, I'm not finding anything right now in that pricerange for the 3 of us -- but I haven't given up hope yet. I knew I couldn't stay away for an entire year.

I know what you mean, Cindy! I went shopping with my mom today and I was on the hunt for a new comforter set for our master bedroom. Well, I'm kinda picky on that type of stuff, so I looked and looked all day. Low & behold, my mom finds a new comforter set for her room and she wasn't even looking for one. Oh well, at least she's happy.

We went out to dinner with the family of one of Emily's friends from preschool. Emily went over to their house after VBS today to play, and we all met up for dinner to release from Emily . Actually, the girls have a great time playing together.

Cindy, we'd love to see you down here. We were actually considering a weekend at WDW in August, since they just released passholder rates. What weekend are you thinking of coming down? Probably a totally different weekend than we were thinking, but who knows??!?!?

Well, off to bed for me. I was up early and I know the girls will be up early in the morning, since they actually went to bed when they were supposed to.

Well, another busy day! I have been spending more time at school because we are down to the last 4 days. I am the volunteer coordinator for her elementary school and the end of the year and beginning of the year is VERY busy. Next week will be worse!

Did I tell you guys I did finally give my notice at work. I have 3 days of work left and then I am on summer break too! I will look for a job in the fall or temp. I have vacations planned for October and December and a new boss might not like that. Too bad so sad! Nothing gets in the way of me and my mouse!

I'd LOVE to see either or both of you when I'm down in August. Which weekend are you talking about? Watch, it will be 3 different weekends! I'll be arriving thursday August 24th and leaving the 27th. It will be just me and my 3 friends. And if you guys meet me at the YC, we can go scrapbook shopping together!

Amy & Diana (and anyone else), I'm thinking of the weekend of 8/11. It seems to be the only free weekend we have before school starts. Walker has soccer camp the 4th as well as Cameron's camping. The 19th is a little too close to the start of school for me to feel comfortable -- the kids go back on 8/23.

Gee, it seems like trying to plan this the summer is going so fast.

That's the weekend that we were thinking of too, Cindy! It's the weekend before Emily starts school again, so we thought it would be a nice weekend to spend at WDW.

A good shopping morning for me!!

I just came back from Target. They had exactly what I was looking for in the way of shelves. Now, if I can just figure out how to put them all together, I'll be able to rearrange my daycare. Always a nice thing for the kids to walk into on Monday mornings.

It rained like crazy during the night. Not storms but a steady rain for several hours. Cameron's baseball game was rained out this morning so it a lazy day here now. I think I'll have Cameron call a friend to see if they want to go to Cars. Of course, I'll have to sit a couple rows away from them to give them their space . I'm just not ready to send them off to a movie theatre alone yet -- besides, it's a nice excuse for me to go too!

I am hoping for cheap airfare to go to Disney too. We have our AP's and I would love to be able to use them. Spirit is having a special sale throughout the summer where they post a fake hurricaine and the strength is how much you pay. Cat 4 storms are $10 - 29 and Cat 5 are $9 each way. They already had 1 storm that was Cat 3 but no flights from Detroit to Fl. I have been checking their site all the time.

Quick question. Are there penny presses on the ship? We just counted DS money jug and he has 88 bucks - not counting his change. We went to the Disney store and got a "credit card" for him aka gift card. This is great - now I do not have to keep up with his money..... They said we could add to it as we needed to. YEAH... oh if you went to see CARS - take your ticket stub and you get free trading cards...

Cameron & I are back from Cars. It was okay. Not one of my favorites, but I did enjoy the story line. I was kind of glad that Walker wasn't with us -- I thought it was a long movie for a kid to sit through. We'll see what he says if he goes to see it anytime soon with Gary. I even got to sit with Cameron & his friend so I guess I'm making progress there.

Thanks Mary... Guess I can cash in those quarters he has too!!!! My kid is loaded and stingey (sp) I asked him to buy me lunch today and he told me "ah no, you guys work so we can eat!" LOL.... he really listens to what I say....

Well off to watch Beauty and the Beast. DH just said he never saw it.. must be a chick flick

woohoo!!! we're about 4 months away from the SSMC06 fun! this will be my first Members Cruise. by any chance is there a scanned posted copy of the 2005 SSMC Navigators somewhere on the web? i know it'll be different, but i'd like to get an idea of what to expect come october!
