We did this with Chris (sanddune) and her family last year. It was nice. :thumbsup2

We thought this year, since our kids are really big breakfast eaters, we might just snack in the room and then head over to the port. But, it is subject to change. Cape May is another of our favorites for character breakfast. We just might meet up with you there.
Sounds good to me! We just thought that the girls would LOVE to have breakfast with the characters, and it forces us to get up early and get moving. Plus, since we won't be heading to any of the parks on Saturday, that will give them a little dose before the cruise.

I'd love to do that... but Mr. Matt is not a morning person and already thinks I need to be up too early to make the cruise... can you see his face if I tell him we are having breakfast with the characters? :rotfl2: We'll just get up and eat in the car like we did last year.

We did that for the Member Cruise last September. We met Carol and her family at Chef Mickey's for breakfast and then headed to the port. It was a nice way to build the excitement level just a bit more :Pinkbounc

We may need to do something like that again, since Deanna will be with you and I'm sure Sarah will want to come and see her. I got the cutest picture of Deanna and Sarah when Deanna was opening her birthday present at Goofy's Kitchen. Sarah thinks the sun rises and sets with Deanna.

Cindy, let me know if you are flying into Jax so I can wave back  Of course I may just try to come along with you all since we have never been to Hilton Head.

Carol

Happy Anniversary Cindy and Gary!!!!

We had a fun weekend. We went to Cedar Point yesterday and DS got to ride a "real" roller coaster. Needless to say that was enough. DH really wanted to get him on the MAGNUM - which I swore off 10 years ago!!!

Today is a lazy day around here. Have a great day everyone....

While we were waiting in line at Cape May, I made a decision for dining before the cruise. Since we're staying at BCV the night before the cruise, we're going to take the girls to breakfast at the Cape May character breakfast on Sunday morning before heading to the port. So, Chris went up to concierge and got us reservations for 7:30am on 10/22. That way, we'll have a nice breakfast before heading to the port.

We have ADR's for Saturday morning. We thought Sunday of eating a light breakfast and checking out the M&M store on the way to the port. Then we will REALLY eat when we get on the ship! :rotfl:

Happy Anniversary Cindy & Gary!

Pardon the lack of posting or even embellishments. We only brought a pda and it's ok to read, but difficult to post!

As far as the Cape May meet, with people coming and going we never got to take a picture.

happy anniversary Cindy and Gary!

Just a quick post - my internet connection died earlier today, its up but slow.

No pics! Wow! I would never have expected that you scrappers! Well, it really is a vacation then. (even from scrapping)

The pre-cruise breakfast ideas are smart! We will not be in the area, otherwise I'd take the pictures! :lmao:

What, no Magnum! Oh gee. That is one that I will go on (sometimes). Glad you all had a good time. It won't be long before you will be holding everything waiting for the young one to come off that ride.

No pictures? I'm really surprised. Good thing there will be a next time. :)

We spent the day at Brookfield Zoo. It sure is changing. They added a huge animal carosel, a water splash fountain, a new playground. Not much in the way of new animal exhibits. But, definately changing. I guess that's a good thing.

It certainly was a beautiful day here. :sunny: We're working on dinner now, actually Gary is as my kids don't like when I cook :rotfl2: .

Is anyone heading to chat tonight?

I had my camera too, just caught up in the chat and remembering that Mary's bag was in Amy's stroller.

I hear a storm coming which will probably knock out my internet again, so no chat for me.

Cheryl

:woohoo: :cheer2: Happy Anniversary Cindy & Gary :cheer2: :woohoo:

Welcome back Mark & Mary!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Yippee!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are all set with our plans to Hilton Head next month. Airfare was more than we paid last year, but something we could live with the cost. We decided it beat driving 16 hours there and 16 hours back. The only drawback is that we arrive back in Chicago at 11:45 p.m. Sunday night. The kids don't care, but both Gary & I are working on Monday. I'm sure it will be a low key stay at home day for me & the daycare -- which all 1st days back from vacation are anyway as everyone is out of their regular routine.

Thanks again for all the anniversary wishes. Gary asked today what we are going to do for our 20th and I mentioned a vow renewal at WDW. Being we have no family who would join us, we thought we'd just invite all our DIS friends to meet us down there. :thumbsup2 Mark & Mary, you were the 1st two mentioned by Walker as being on the guest list. :cool1:
