Jeff - we might be able to do Yachtsman Sunday night after the cruise but I can't commit at this point due to that marital thing! I love that restaurant!

All - got the bone scan results and it was good news, no other signs of cancer at this point. Next steps is for Dad to hopefully be admitted into the proton therapy program at MD Anderson in Houston. Cross your fingers please!

Have I mentioned how much I love Nordstroms? Yesterday I was there to return some clothes so I stopped by the kids shoe department to have them check Ian's shoes. I just wanted to make sure they still fit or buy some new ones if not. Well he still had some length to grow into, though the saleswoman indicated they probably wouldn't last the summer, but his foot was a bit squished. So she brought out a bigger size - both length and width - for Ian to try. Much better fit and will last through the summer. What truly surprised me is that she exchanged the shoes even though Ian's been in them for over 2 months. Yup, that's where I buying all of Ian's shoes for a while, at least while his shoe size changes every few months. :thumbsup2

Jeff - neither date you mentioned will work for us. We are arriving on the 21st and departing on the 29th.

Julie - Glad to hear you received good news so far. We'll continue to keep your dad in our thoughts and prayers.

The weather in MA is miserable and will be like this all week. I can't wait to go to WDW. May 21 can't get here quick enough! Annmarie

Nordstroms is great!! :thumbsup2 I've bought most, if not all, of my kids shoes there ever since I had Cameron in a size 3. When the size 3 didn't fit anymore, I tried a size 4 and it wouldn't fit. Tried 5 and it still didn't fit. A friend suggested Nordstroms so that's where we went to find out that I had been squishing Cameron's feet into a much to small shoe. That was it for me. I'll always let them measure my kids. They have a great program to try and teach the kids to tie shoes -- we've done it before without any success on Walker's part but we'll try it again soon.

I've had the same experience as you, Robin. And, we've had a pair of shoes or twos that just didn't hold up very well. Another time they were replaced, free of charge.

I might pay a couple of dollars more, but in the end, it's well worth it to me. ::yes::

I'm sad that Cameron's feet are now bigger than mine -- no more Nordstrom's kids department for him.

Walker doesn't know it yet, but I did manage to snag a pair of the Heely's through Nordstroms kids department in size 1. These are the very popular kids shoes with the wheels in them. Walker has wanted them for a while but they are hard to come by. Fortunately for him, I now have a pair which will be his graduation present in a couple of weeks. :teeth: I hope they fit -- or he'll be crushed.

AWESOME!

Oh there is a cool song about believing (not the Jim Brickman one) that is on a recent CD - I will try to find it tonight.

Found it - it's on the CD "Disney Wishes!" (not the soundtrack to wishes) and is called "If you can dream" by Paige O'Hara and others.

Julie - great news on the bone scan. Will keep your Dad in our prayers.

Great news!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good morning everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much in the evenings but trying to get ready for our May 27th cruise. I spent a good part of last night starting to print the DIS navigators. They are bigger than the ones I did for SSMC05 and have both an alpha and a numeric listing. Need to finish them up tonight so I can start making the packets. Since we aren't driving down for this trip we'll be shipping them ahead to a friend in the Daytona area.

Good Morning All!!
Looks like the last 2 days have been a little quite. I know I've been pretty busy this week.

Julie - Great News! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts!

I need a Nordstroms! I would love a free replacement or trade up for any of Nick's shoes. He has wide feet so shoe shopping is a pita.

To all my scrapping friends - I have my next class for those Disney pages tonight. I'll scan them and post them either tonight or tomorrow! :mickeyjum

Julie--that is wonderful news! My good thoughts and prayers still go to your family! :wizard:

Stacy--we do need a Nordstroms! And I can't wait to see the new pages.

At my "freaky" crop this weekend, I did actually learn to make something new. They did a paper bag book workshop. So I was thinking about turning your pages into a paper bag book and letting the girls use it for an autograph book on the cruise. It sounds pretty ambitious on my part.

Ug--I'm late as always. I'm off to kickboxing in an hour. I'm not showered and dressed. (I'm a freak and shower before I go to the gym, in case I have an accident in the 1 mile from here to there, I'll look decent when they cart my limp dead body out of the car. :confused3 ) The girls aren't even UP yet. Guess I need to get moving! :surfweb: Hopefully, you guys will keep it slow here today, I won't be home until after 3---errands, playgroup....fun, fun, fun!

OOhhh, you'll definitely have to post your pages when you're done. I'm working on a project for my nephew today. If I get it finished, I'll post later.

Yeah, it turns out Ian went from a wide to an extra wide shoe. Funny, but his foot doesn't look that big to me.

Can't wait to see your pages. Have fun tonight.

Amy I definately plan on having the larger versions for the Member Cruise as well. I've also done a few things on the web page for the May group that I want to do for the Member Cruise when we get back. :)
