Free AP's or even passes would be nice, lol. But if your talking realistic hmmmmm....that pirate party on Castaway Cay would be a nice gift.

2. Based on the success of Art Linkletter last year what old-time Disney star would you like to hear talk on this cruise?
Not sure I care.

3. Which younger Disney star would you like to see perform on the cruise?
Can't think of one.

4. What special behinds the scene guest would you like to see onboard to give a presentation?
Again not real well versed on this.

5. Since we've had a photo taken on each of the other Member Cruises what would you like to see done for a photo on this cruise?
Wow, I'm really not good at playing this game today. I'd be happy with any picture, not sure how to make it more special than it already is.

6. Anything else special you'd like to see?

After reading Diana's I had to change my answer! I had forgotten about
Wayne Brady and Jim Brinkman!

By younger I was thinking you meant "kid" star. I knew Wayne Brady wasn't an "older" star but I couldn't figure out where to put him. I still really like Aly and AJ, I just hope they don't turn out like Lindsay Lohan, because I used to really like her (Parent Trap, that movie with Tyra Banks) and then she grew up into the girl she is now.

Yeah bad choice or words on my part. I was thinking younger as in more current which is what I changed it too on the original post. I agree about Lindsey Lohan - loved her in Parent Trap (though the original is still best) but not so much any more.

1. Not counting points or trips, what gift would you like to receive from DVC? I'm not sure I'd want it as a gift but I love the discount on the AP's and hope it continues. I certainly wouldn't want it to be a gift because it would end up costing all of us in our dues if that was the case.

2. Based on the success of Art Linkletter last year what old-time Disney star would you like to hear talk on this cruise? I'd also love to cruise with Roy Disney -- not sure he counts as an old-time Disney star but I think it would be great to hear him speak of the early Disney years.

4. What special behinds the scene guest would you like to see onboard to give a presentation? I agree with the others, Joe Rohde would be awesome!!

5. Since we've had a photo taken on each of the other Member Cruises what would you like to see done for a photo on this cruise? Not the Mickey Ears. I didn't care for them at all. I also like the idea of a mosiac --- I'm not sure we'd do another group portrait.

6. Anything else special you'd like to see? I would love to have the Captian forget his way back to the Port and force us to spend an extra week out at sea.

I finally made my ressie for DL - am staying at GC and am looking forward to it - won't have a Disney trip til then.

Gail - which airline did you use to go out there - looking for a good airfare - otherwise, it will be time for me to drive cross country again which wouldn't be too bad a thing except I have a lot of travelling coming up in August and at the end of July too.

When are you going? We will be there from July 27th through August 1st (DH birthday). I posted on the DL boards that I got an AP rate for the GCH with a DTD view for $219 (AP rate). The room is usually $410 per night. Let me know if you need anymore info.

Good morning everyone! Roxann glad to hear your first day was ok. I agree a perfect job would be no job but with income still coming in (like from Powerball). Since I don't see that happening for me I guess I'll get ready for work!

That's a tough one. I'm not realy sure there are so many different things I would love.

Some of the people other have been mentioning would be great. I don't know of any one favorite for me.

Again I agree with some of the people other have mentioned like Jim Brickman & Wayne Brady

Joe Rhode for sure. I loved the special about EE. I really get a kick out of him.

Oh that mosaic idea is great! I know the Captain is usually pretty busy but a photo with the Captain would be cool. Or maybe if the do like a dress up picture in front of the Flying Dutchman (if it is still at CC) like those old time photo places.

Well I've caught up on the thread.
We had a busy day yesterday. Jeff & I went into work early so that we could leave at noon. We went and picked up Nick from my parents to take a bus trip to last nights Yankee game!
We had a ball. One of Jeff's co-workers ran the bus trip so it was just co-workers and his family on the bus. We had all kinds of snacks and he brought cupcakes for everyone.
We got there early and had time to see Monument Park before the game. It was hat night too so we all got a baseball cap. The Yankees won so that made it that much better. We got home about 2am and were dead tired!

We took today off and Nick had to go to the School District office today to take a test to see about possibly skipping 6th grade math next school year. We should know by early next week if he did good or not.
Our school has what's called a Young Scholars program for kids to take more enriched or advanced classes. Luckily Nick has always scored high when he takes the test and participates in the program.
