2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 2

Right now we are averaging 32 posts per day. If we keep this pace up we'll get to 11,712 posts by sailing day. However as we learned last year the closer we got to sailing the more we post. I think we could hit 20,000.


On the blabbermouth thread we just did 1000 posts in a week!

BTW - today is 6 months until we cruise!

And, with that, we just hit 7500 posts!!!

I'm hoping it's a fast 6 months A trip in May to DL, 3 months of summer that will fly by, the 11 night cruise in Sept and then SSMC06 I guess it will be here before we know it!

Mary - thanks for posting the link to Chris' birthday thread! I'd love to spend my birthday in WDW. Now if I could just win the lottery I would want to spend 365 days there!

I can't believe we are already on page 500 for this thread. Interesting comparison of the 2005 vs 2006 thread too.

After Mary's goodnight when I got into chat, I really had intended to stick around after I said goodnight. But, old habits are hard to break and I zipped out of there.

Then I thought, I'll go back in, but it wouldn't have been the same as hanging around.

Another factor to take into consideration is last year, we were all still pretty shy Now that most of us have already met, I think we'll go way past Mary's estimate of 11,000 + posts.

I tried to enter chat last night but everyone was gone. Disadvantage to being on the West Coast 9 pm here is midnight where most of you are.

No we are going to do that some other time since this week didn't exactly turn out as planned.
I missed chat too. Nick was at a friends yesterday and we got a call about 8:30pm asking if he could sleepover. We said yes so Jeff & I brought him his pj's and clothes to wear and stopped at Amy's favorite locale, Walmart on the way home to pick up a few things

Actually the 11,000 was just what we would hit at our current pace. My projection was 20,000

Good News on air fare from BOS to MCO in October. It dropped from $299 down to $154 so I have a $290 credit with Jetblue. I decided to check the price of our tickets for our trip home next month and that price also went down and received another credit of $60!

The only problem is that the credits have to be used within one year so it looks like we're going to need to plan another trip before next April!

The customer service rep said I should continue to check the fares periodically because if the prices drop again I'll be able to get another credit!

One thing I forgot to mention before, I was at the post office this morning and they have the new Disney stamps. Their titled "Romance" and it has Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, Cinderella and Mickey and Minnie. They went on sale today. The Flower and Garden Festival had a ceremony to celebrate their release and opening of the F&G Festival.

Thanks for the information about the stamps Jeff. I still have $0.37 stamps I need to use up but I think I need some more!
