Diana can you please come to my house. When i had my day off for cleaning I didn't get 1/10th as much done as you did today. Good job.

No thanks, really....I'm all cleaned out. Cindy even though you've offered to take the girls, I think taking care of the girls is easier than cleaning.

Funny thing is, Bruce mentioned the other day that if I really wanted to, I could hire someone to come in and do the spring cleaning. I thought about it, but then said they'd end up killing me because I'd have to stand behind them and tell them every little thing I need to have clean or I wont sleep at night. We decided it was safer and cheaper for me to do it myself.

I'm one of those people who even if I was super rich would still clean my own house because I know what's clean and I know how clean it is. And I'm also one of those people who would have to clean before the cleaner got there for fear they would see a mess.

I had a service for while and it ended up being a love/hate relationship. I was happy with them one week and miserable the next. The nicest part was they would come while I was out with the kids every Wednesday morning. The kids were so amazed to come home and have everything straightened up -- I think they thought the "cleaning fairy" was here while we were out.

Some weeks, though, they would be late and then I'd come home and they would still be here. Once, they showed up way past their scheduled time and arrived after I was home. Ummmm, I don't think nows a good time, unless you can do the job with 6 sets of eyes watching your every move. So, finally I broke off with them, thinking I would find someone else who was more reliable. I just never got around to it.

I really should think about it again. I did have an offer of help from a lady who works at Chuck E. Cheeses. She was scrubbing the floors in there like a mad woman and when I commented about it, she said she did cleaning on the side. It's the cleaning on the side part that bothers me. With the business, I'm entitled to claim a portion of those expenses, but if I'm paying her on the side, if she's not claiming it, I'm a bit leary to get tangled up in that type of IRS mess. I'd rather play fair and square with taxes and deductions than risk having to prove something later than wasn't legit.

Did everyone mail their tax return on time? We did --- just under the wire. Yep, there was a line of all of us procrastinators at the post office that night!

1) Before I found the DIS I used to hang out......No where really, kinda just checked email, and my bank, and thats about it.

2) Before I bought into DVC my vacation style was.....Value resorts, and commando

3) Since we are going to Castaway Cay for two days I'm going to try something new...never been there, so it will be a whole new thing for me

4) The item I think I'm going to like the most out of the SSMC06 shop Diana put up is....lime green shirt

5) If I could spend 5 minutes with Jim Lewis I would tell him...what a wonderful thing the Vacation club has done for the average family.

Just an FYI!!!

For those of you that fly Southwest they opened up the dates thru Septemeber 12. Can't wait for them to open for October!
And I read that Disney should be starting to sell tickets for MNNSHP starting May 1st!

We are planning to purchase AP's. In order to get an AP discount (if available) on MNSSHP tickets can you have a voucher or do you actually have to have an AP in hand? Anyone know

OH OH OH do you have space for one more? Seriously I LOVE these and so want to do it. Heck if I have to I'll ride with the kids I promise to be good and I'll even ride in the back. Plus I grew up as a lifeguard and can swim well just in case.

Good question because I only have the voucher saying I purchased the AP not the pass itself and I wanted to do the same.

Another busy day here. I have an open house to get more moms to see our club at 9:30. And you guessed it, I'm an organizer.

For those of you who don't "get" what I do, I'm a member of a stay at home moms club. It's a pretty organized group with board members (you guessed it, volunteered again!) a newsletter, and a calendar and plan about 4 activities a week to do with the kids. You don't have to go to everything, but it seems like I do. We have about 40 members, but there are always people dropping out and joining. We try to do a membership drive before summer starts so especially when school gets out, the stay at home moms in our town don't sit at home alone and go crazy at home with their kids. But, like most things in life, any time you get a bunch of woman together---the cattiness will kill you.

If I remember correctly, I read here that the AP Voucher has a # on the back that you can use in order to get the Discount.

I'm still debating whether to get the AP, since the Member Cruise will be our last "vacation" until we sail the Repo Home in August 2007! Oh that's gonna hurt!

Diana you amaze me! Sounds like the organization is great and you still find time to do all this cleaning and do your daily workouts. I'm such a slacker next to you!

You totally aren't a slacker! You get up every day and go to work, which is way harder than what I do. If I don't want to get out of my PJs, I don't have to.

And I have to admit, because school is out this week, there isn't babysitting or classes at the Y, so I haven't gone all week. That's how I managed to fit my cleaning binge in.

It will be ok for the first few weeks, because one of my neices is going to stay here for about a week and a half after her family leaves, so Emily will have someone to play with. But, after that, all bets are off.

I'm still hoping to make it to Chicago in July sometime, so that will break up some of the summer, but that's only a little bit. EEeeek!!!
