Attention scrapbookers, if you want to be tempted, QVC is having a Scrapbook Fair from 9-5 EDT. Lots of cool stuff!

I was just watching. I need to stay away from the TV today!

Diana, you are such a geek!!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Yea, that's me. Geek. Big Time. :teacher:

The even geekier thing was that when I grew up, I became an Actuary. :teacher:

But now, I'm retired of course! :hippie:

Good thing I don't turn QVC on. Much less the TV during the day.

Walker, however, would have a field day. Have I mentioned that he loves to write down phone numbers and try to dial them on his own. I always remind him he has no credit card. Just Saturday, he tried to order Floam over the phone. Gee, they just make it so easy! :rotfl2: Fortunately, for us, he hasn't made it all the way to the operator.

Now that I think about it, maybe I best hide the credit & debit cards. :lmao: :lmao:

That reminds me of the commercial where the girl is hammering at a giant block of ice with the credit card frozen in the middle of it with a home shopping show on the background. :lmao:

I'm so close to that right now with this Cricut thing they just showed on QVC! It's like $250 but it looks SOOOOO cool!!!

We're having an ice cream social with the kids today. I can tell you it wasn't my brilliant idea to give 25 under 3 year olds ice cream before nap time.

Have all of you forgotten who won the World Series last year? :stir:

I'm not sure we can sail with all these Cubs fans. :sad2: :sad2:
Cindy,

I was rooting for the Sox to win last year, because they are a Chicago team, But I am a die hard Cubs fan!

I do too!!

Did you know that the time Gary & I met Mark & Mary at Macaroni Grill, Mary & I ordered just about the same exact thing (except mine have veggies in it and Mary's didn't). Talk about weird.

And, all 4 of us had iced tea too!

I love Macaroni Grill too. Only problem is that I haven't figured out how to eat that wonderful bread with getting olive oil on my shirt :rotfl:

Sandy you could do what I do and eat it plain. I know it is better with the oil, but I really do love it plain. I'm wierd.

Got some sad news from Mark. He was out running an errand and saw that the hotel we spent our wedding night in has closed. :(

Hey all, Tried to catch up, failed about 20 pages back... Sorry,,,

Cindy, You have Robin and I but NOT IAN on the dining list.

There was so muych stuff to com ment on... I'll just send PD to everyone.....

I'm not Cindy, but I'm sure it's safe to assume that Ian will be seated with you and Robin. Emma and Julia are not listed by my name, and there's no doubt in my mind I'm going to get seated with them! (Unless Julie and Matt really want to take them! :lmao: )

Now I can say with 100% certainity, I will not have time during dinner to be playing bingo, so I'm going to be putting a request to not be seated at any bingo playing table. I'm actually quite lucky to manage to chew my food before I swallow it with my two, I don't need any more distractions. :clown: Plus, I need to keep Julia from snatching things off Gary's plate! :lmao:

Diana - I'm with you. We had enough fun and laughs at dinner without any organized games. Plus Steve would cheat and make a card that said creme brulee on every square and then he would win every night. :lmao:

I'm the same way, Diana! Except, I need to keep an eye on Emily swiping Cindy's chips (even though she still pleads innocence to that charge).

I'm thinking Julie & Matt will have their hands full with having to listen to Nicholas speaking to them and telling his stories!! :listen:

***T Shirt Information***

Great news friends!! The store is open for business!! :cool1:

I just want to go over a couple of things before you start shopping:

* Colored shirts--I put the lime shirt in the store. Because of the colors in the graphic and the fact that the images are transparent, the colored shirts look very strange. I put it up anyway, so you guys can see it. I tried the pink and yellow and they looked ridiculous. White and Ash are there, and they are your best bet.

* Baseball Cap -- The way the template is set up, the image for a baseball cap is rectangular. Because our life preserver logo is square, it gets scaled down a bit on the cap. Once again, I just put it there for you to see.

* Infant onesie -- It doesn't allow for a back image. I'm thinking because most kids that wear onesie don't walk, so you don't see their back. So I put the back design on the front of the onesie.

* Toddler t shirts -- They don't have "pocket" graphics like the rest of the shirts. They are centered in the front. This is because these shirts run from 6 mo - 4T, they are pretty tiny and there really isn't much room in the pocket area for the graphic.

I think I did a pretty good job with the selection of shirts. I also added the journal, ornament, mug and mousepad. If you see anything else on cafepress you'd like to try out with our images, just let me know and I'll try it out for you.

One last thing I want to address....one of the reasons why we chose cafepress over zazzle was the ability to open the store as a not-for-profit one. Our store is set up as not-for-profit. That means there is ZERO markup on the merchandise. You are paying cafepresses prices. No one besides cafepress is making any money on this at all. If you would like to verify that on your own, feel free, the information is out there for you on cafepress, or I can send you a link with not-for-profit store info. I just want to make this clear for everyone to understand completely and fully.

I'm also going to ask Mark to post this info on the website, so we aren't always searching for it!

That being said http://www.cafepress.com/ssmc06 Happy Shopping! :cheer2:

Great job Diana! Thank you for all your hard work on this.

One thing I want to add. Since we are using www.disboards.com on the items I ran this past Pete. It is his site and he owns the rights to that url. We got his approval to use it on all of the items.

I know that on all the cruises I've been on where we have worn the DIS name both DVC and DCL were aware of us and the group has always done the DIS proud. I expect the same will be true this time.

My neglected children are begging to bounce, so I need to go get them tired out before they go to bed. :lmao:

Pictures Diana - we want pictures of them bouncing! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Mark has udpated the website to include all of Diana's information and a link to the store.
