It is amazing how someone can open Birthday wishes for everyone on the Birthday board, but leave out the ones that they don't like.

Give me a break!! If you're going to wish everyone on the DIS calendar a Happy Birthday, then you better wish EVERYONE a Happy Birthday!! Just cowardly in my opinion, but I'm sure that I won't get a birthday wish on that thread on my birthday either!!! Whatever!!!

Don't worry Cheryl, you're in good company, I didn't get a birthday thread initially either but I'd rather my friends start a thread and wish me geniune good thoughts than empty wishes to inflate post counts.

Mark helped me resize it so I could add it to my siggie.

I'm glad you mentioned this. Maybe Mark will take pitty on me. I have one from the cruise that I scanned (with the white background, Gail ;) ) that I tried to put in my signature the other day. But, it's rather large.

I think I'll send Mark a PM. :wave2:

Yep, I'm certain I won't be on the list either.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I'm right with Diana.....I'd much rather have a birthday wish that meant something than just empty words on a screen! ::yes::

I'll keep that in mind. I'm thinking I'm probably covered for this time around but I'm certain I'll need some help in the future.

This reminds me of that commercial!!

Enjoli
I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan. And never let you forget you're a man. Because I'm a woman, Enjoli.

Cindy - great picture of the boys. I sent you a link for it. Now take that nasty old fruitcake out and replace it with your adorable sons!

Hey, that nasty old fruitcake still provides some good laughs for some of us around here! :lmao:

But Cindy, the boys look pretty cute!

Exactly - strong independent women. Just think the next generation will be even more so. I know right now that Emily, Emma, Julia and Madison are strong, intelligent little ladies who know what they want!

Yeah, my kids beat out a nasty fruitcake anyday! :lmao:

I'm hoping there's some fruitcake on the cruise! :lmao:

BTW - Let's talk about the cruise for a minute. :lmao:

We sail in 200 days!

And, most certainly, they know what they don't want. How many times a day do you hear "NO" Diana & Amy? Must be at least a gazzillion! :rotfl2:

Here's a question for everyone, totally not cruise related.....it's about the Easter Bunny. Does the bunny bring toys in your kids baskets along with the candy or just a whole basket of candy?

Bruce thinks I'm insane because I just had to go Easter shopping last night. We got into this huge thing about how it's not Christmas and there aren't supposed to be presents. I always got little toys in my Easter basket--strawberry shortcakes, care bears, my little ponies....stuff like that along with the standard coconut cream crosses and peanut butter eggs. He told me all he ever got was one chocolate bunny. :confused3

Is Bruce related to Gary?

We always have a Christmas event in March or April -- depending on when Easter is. ::yes::

But I have to say, presents are good and fun but my kids still love the easter egg hunt the best. The Bunny hides them in the yard, along with the presents, and when they get up, we go around the yard collecting the hidden eggs. When they are done, they hide them again.

Okay, maybe in all fairness, Cameron's looking forward to the presents more than the eggs at his age. ;)

Most definitely, your adorable boys certainly beat out a nasty old fruitcake. :rotfl2:

Well way back in my day (many many many years ago) we would get an easter basket (the same basket every year but with new stuff in it) with one toy and some candy. My toy was almost always some type of stuffed animal. I was much more into them than dolls. We'd have the chocolate bunny was well and some marshmellow easter eggs. Great memories.

The Easter bunny always brings the girls each a basket with a little bit of candy and snacks and then little toys appropriate for each of them. Also, as a kid, the Easter bunny always brought us a new little stuffed bunny for our basket.
