We're interested, but we're guessing that we'll be out of our element, financially speaking. We'll see... :3dglasses

I'm interested, but there is no way I could take my two on a Med cruise and live to tell the tale. Besides, we'd be way out of our financial element too.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Julia. We went to the doc and she has croup. Needless to say, I've had a long painful night. She slept in bed with us last night and coughed and tossed and turned the entire night. Then about 2am she gets a fever, so now we are dealing with that. Now Emma's up, and she's coughing like a seal. It's going to be a long day. :headache:

:grouphug: Diana to you and the girls. Sorry to hear they are both sick now. Here's hoping they get better soon!

It just doesn't end, does it. pixiedust:

Diana, I've heard that fresh, cool air is awesome in dealing with croup. You could bundle the girls up and head outside for a while. It might help open up their lungs a bit and fresh air always helps in the sleeping department. I hope both girls are on the mend soon.

It is such a bad time right now for colds/flu. The other day, my doctor told me they have had so many people hospitalized the last month -- even people my age. Then we talked about a flu shot for me next year (as I know I don't want to go through the flu again next year) and he said I don't qualify :confused3 because I'm not old enough yet. So, even though I work with kids that are constantly battling one thing or another, I guess I just need to plan to suffer through the flu again. In his defense, I've only had it twice that I know of. Two weeks ago and 6 years ago when I was pregnant with Walker. So, for a track record, that's really not so bad. It's just so fresh in my mind as to how miserable I was that I'd like to avoid it if I can.

No desire for a Med cruise for us.

Oh no, Maddie has had the croup before. What an awful, barking cough!! My ped said that it usually only lasts 5 days and the worst night is the 3rd one. So, hopefully it will be over soon.

ummmm you guys do know you are a day early right? Mark's birthday is tomorrow. Unless there is another Mark with a birthday today. :lmao: I'm sure he'll appreciate the wishes - just means he gets to celebrate for 2 days.

Actually, I think Gail's a day ahead of the calendar so we can wish you a Happy Birthday tomorrow, Mary. Being both of us will be traveling on Thursday!

Here's my wish just so I'm not the odd man out:

:cake: :cake: Happy Birthday Mark! :cake: :cake:

OMG It's only Tuesday???? I swear it was Wednesday when I got up and I even rechecked the date to make sure. :lmao: Good thing I found out now, I would have been at the airport tomorrow instead of the real Thursday!

Sorry Mark - I'll get it right tomorrow! Think of today as your pre-birthday greeting :rotfl2:

Morning all. The sun is out again today but it is only 27 right now. Have to work on cleaning the house today. I had the flu last week and not much got done around here.

If anyone is thinking about renting from Budget for the cruise you might want to sign up for Fastbreak. You can go right to the garage at MCO and not have to stop at the counter. Worked really well last year for us. They do not have that service at the port so you still have to stand in line there.

Julie I hope you banking is finally fixed. That is such a nightmare.

Diana I love your new tag. :rotfl2:

And National calls the came thing the 'Emerald Aisle', and I wouldn't be surprised that the others have that too now, easier on them as well. Also, I think all of them have some kind of express drop thing as well.

National is running a special now with the Emerald Aisle. I don't know if it's always been there or not, but I just signed up with no fee to join.

I've rented a car for our trip later this week. I'm a little scared about driving with just me & the kids, but I know I can handle it. Once we get to WDW property, I'm good. My neighbor is drawing me a map to get from the airport to WDW.

It seems like daily I'm getting a better and better rate by visiting their website and rebooking the car. :confused3 Not sure how that works, but hey, anything I can save is a deal to me. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Uh-oh!! I guess that's like Cindy thinking dinner was on Saturday not Sunday. She would have wondered if we had all stood her up!!

It's just a mix-up week!!

Diana - sorry to hear about the kids - that blasted stinks.

Mark - ha I will celebrate with you tomorrow.

Oh Cindy, you'll do fine getting from the airport to WDW. It's actually really easy. There are 2 different ways to go, and to me, I like going the north route, not the south route.

Out of the airport, you're going to follow signs for 528 heading west. There are tolls. Then, 528 will dead-end at I-4. You'll want to take I-4 West toward Tampa. Then, just follow the signs for WDW, it's really easy!
