2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 2

Well, we got back from our 7 night Eastern cruise last week....and my wife and I are SO looking forward to the member cruise now.

We were in a Cat 11 for the 7 night, but have a Cat 7 for the member cruise...and we are without the kids!

So, we get to cruise in both the Magic and Wonder in the same year!

Can't wait.....As Castaway Members now, when can we start booking excursions, Spa treatments, Palo's, etc? I expect it should be April....but don't know the day.

Is the Spa going to be closed for our cruise? We were hoping to do the Rasual for the trip (had it scheduled for our 7 night, but had to cancel due to kid's scheduling issues )

Actually, CC members get to book 90 days in advance. So, I calculate that it should be July 24th. Concierge gets to book at 105 days.

Wow! 37 more weeks! We can't wait. I hope to be back here posting more now that work has quieted down a bit. There are too many pages to catch up right now but will try to at some point. I'm sure all of you will keep me up-to-date if I missed anything important over the past 6 weeks. Annmarie

I thought I was going to be there, but right now, I'm not sure. I haven't been feeling well today. Even the nap I took this afternoon didn't seem to take the edge off of it. I'm just sitting here waiting to finish up a couple of things on ebay before calling it a night. I did just have dinner, so maybe that will give my body something to do and give me a break. Everything all the daycare kids have been passing around has caught up with me.

I'm watching the commercials and DISing and ebaying while the game is on. So far, I think my favorite commercial was the Dove one with the little girls and "True Colors". I guess it reminds me of the pre-show for HISTA. I also like the Kermit Ford Escape one. He's a cutie.

My favorite commerical so far is the Disney one! Loved it!

Taxes are pretty much done (still have to talk to the accountant), bills are paid, web pages are updated. i'm ready for chat!

Dad is getting over Bronchitis & Pneumonia and Nick has been coughing and sniffling with a slight on/off fever all weekend.

I think this is the first weekend in a long time that I haven't been to either Friday night cruise chat or Sunday night DVC chat or both.
