Mary, that is awesome. I think it's WAY better than mine, but like I said the other day we all tend to judge our own work harshly. And it's a great example of how different the styles can be. Great job! I love it!!

I'm not sure if I'll be in chat tonight. Nick had his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby today and it just makes for a long tiring day. I feel like I could fall asleep right now.

Amy I hope you had a good time at AK today. So what did you think of EE?

Hey guys! EE was AWESOME!! What a fantastic ride!!! I would do it again and again if I could. But, the line was 90 minutes long. We got lucky and our friends (Tim & Michelle, that are also going on SSMC06) gave us fast passes. So, we only waited, oh about, 1 minute to get on the ride. That was the fastest, fast pass that I've ever had. Anyway, terrific ride for anyone that likes roller coasters.

And, sadly, Emily isn't tall enough yet. Heck, she's just getting tall enough to ride Big Thunder Mountain & Splash Mountain. We just haven't gotten over to MK yet to see if she's tall enough yet.

What is the intro page? I don't recall seeing that in Diana's book.

Had fun on chat last night! Chris even made an appearance for a while!! He was in rare form, but did try to help out with some DVC questions for some on chat last night.

Cindy - Amy is right. What I'm calling my info page is what I'm listing my theme and rules on. I think Diana called it the rules page which is probably the more correct term.


Amy - we did have fun in chat last night even though it was a much quieter group than in the past. You and Chris did a great job with the questions. We also had Stacy, Diana and MaryJ in chat with us. A good night.

Maybe the difference in the term is what threw me off. I do remember Diana having a "rules" page.

Missed chat last night. Sounds like you had fun. I was really whipped -- or just plain worn out from not doing much yesterday afternoon. We took the boys roller skating, and Gary & I watched for the couple of hours they did it (no broken bones or bruising for us ). Both of the kids did great -- especially Walker since he's only 5. The highlight of his afternoon was the $5 bill he found laying out on the skating rink. $5 to a 5 year old is a lot of money -- Cameron tried to con him into splitting it with him, but no luck on Cameron's part.

We went out to dinner afterwards.

Homework and getting ready for Monday morning took up the rest of my energy last night. I know I was in bed shortly after 9 when the kids went down.

I'm hoping this week is a MUCH better one than last week. I'm hoping everyone that was sick/out is back and we're into our regular routine. Just having one of the kids missing is enough to throw off my routine. Having all but 1 out sick really messed me up on Friday. Good news though about the little one who ended up in the emergency room. They determined that he passed out because he jerked away from his mother too quickly and his body took it as a sign to protect him from that type of movement. I don't quite understand it, but the Mom & Dad were comfortable with what the doctors told them. I'll just have to avoid the little guy from doing any type of temper tantrum with me in the future.

Cindy - here is hoping for a much better week at your place!


I made a commitment today to go back to the WISH board and to get back on track losing weight. I joined WW online back in late '03 and was pretty successful to start (lost almost 25 lbs). Then life got busy, I slipped and the weight came back. I've tried to restart many times but just didn't feel the commitment. Well today is the day. So I'm back to logging my points, I'm going to get back on the treadmill at night and I'm committed to making this work.

I know Amy has been working at being heathier as well. Lily is a moderator over at the WISH board as well.

I saw one of the double dip groups has got a thread over there doing group support. Anyone from this group want to give it a try with me? We could also do it here since this has become home to so many of us. Just thinking if I know my DVC buddies are doing it that I could be more successful. So what do you think?
