2006 AAA and WDW Offers

AAA is an automobile club service. they can map out driving trips, be used for road side service (flat tires, out of gas, towing etc) and have a travel portion of services.

discounts are issued thru AAA for travel and packages. think travel company affiliated with Sam's Club..

i originally had the AAA room discount but switched to a package when i went to orlando a few weeks ago. they can give the same disney package that you buy from disney.

for the chgo area, it cost me $54 a year for the first driver and an additional $10 per additional driver. there was a special in our area during june and that was the fees and no enrollment fee. it is valid for one year from the time i signed up.

AAA has a travel site. the discounts are usually listed there.

Thanks for the info. I have some auto club like that, but I think it is roadside through my ford extended warranty. Not the same thing I guess.

AAA is great to have, It costs me under $40 for the year. It not only saves you money on rooms and tickets, if you plan on going over to Universal you can save 10% on food in the park and also 10% on souvenirs. All you have to do is 'show you card' and they take 10% off the bill.

I have 2 ressies ....

BILL from PA - call the S/D for 2006.
We have $210 teacher rate - balcony room with outer wing facing EPCOT, upper floor at the Dolphin - end of June 2006 till beginning of July 2006 (except 1st four days)

WDW AAA rates -
We have WL courtyard, for dates above, at $279/night AAA rate.
We are still waiting for AP rates.

Might split our stay - since our 1st four night at the Dolphin are $310.
Do 1 week WL and then 2nd week (4th of July) Dolphin.
First week lots of MK and 2nd week lots of EPCOT & STUDIO's.


Keep calling each week if to see if the rates are good for your vacation days.

Thanks for the info. I check the DU site daily and there's still no Teacher's Rate for March 2006 although there are dates in June. I haven't tried calling yet, better start that too. I've been spoiled in the past, getting Swan and Dolphin for $129 to $149 and $169 is probably my max for this year. I've got POR as a backup for $148 and I figure being in the Epcot area is worth $20 per night but my daughter, SIL and grandkids will join us on the third day of 10 and their upper limit is about that, too. Congrats on your rate and keep looking, I'd expect to see $139 plus or minus for early summer.
