Tall Midgit Girl: Happy be-lated birthday! 15!!
Holly: No I haven't tried to re-explain everything, so I still don't know how Randi will do the tour with so many riders. At this point I will be happy just to know that she will take us!
Count me in on the "shorties"! My DS grew (WOW!
) last summer while visting with DMIL/DFIL, and came back taller than me (5'2.5" - sorry, I gotta add that last 1/2 inch while I still have it!) so it's his greatest pleasure and a pet-name to call me "Shortie". I'd love to be 5'7" (and thus flatten out some of the more pronounced curvy areas
) but I can't figure out where Alice's mushroom is to make me taller (and the catipillars I meet won't say
). Rae Ann, believe me, I understand the problems with finding things for petite sized people.
DS got some shopping done - we found a nice young-mens suit for $47+change at our local department store (soon to be Macy's?). He needed some spring clothes as obviously last years now don't fit! Found a couple nice things he's planning to take on the cruise. Since he's not a shopper (like me) it was a major achievement to get that done! Of course the DD was trying on clothes too and she found a cute Mickey top with a little black skort (on sale plus 20% discount) so of course she's planning to bring that along. She is much like her dad (my DH) and loves shopping.
Our weather has been so beautiful -it is one of those stretches of time where the days are so lovely; warm breezes, few puffy clouds in a bright blue sky, actual sunshine
....it's really tough to be inside working! The young students are out in all their splendor showing off everything -- tatoos (how low can you go), rings (not just in noses), and more areas of skin than necessary for some! (yipes! Low riders and crop tops with ample hips!
I know I got my "roundness", but I ain't about to show it!! ) It's a rite of spring, I guess! LOL!
Well, that's my diatribe for the day! Have a great one!

at the Sail Away Party!
Have you emailed Sylvie? She has been so helpful for us.

We can definitely share pic's.
Probably won't make it until September now (DH hates the summer crowds!

) then it will be the first camp-out for this past Scout year (September thru August) that they will have nice weather...they've camped in torrential rains, snow and freezing temperatures! I say it's because us girls are on the trip!
