Well, I guess that it's about time to decide about this year's Memorial Day picnic. Since three people have asked me about it this morning, I want to officially announce that we will have a picnic again this year. But just the Sunday picnic this year. And breakfast the following morning. But I need a break from Cedar Point.

The picnic will officially begin at noon on Sunday and run until the last person goes home. Breakfast will be bright and early on Monday morning because this year both of our kids will be marching in the Memorial Day parade. We provide all the burgers, hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks. And bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, Belgian waffles, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast.

So there you have it. If you think you can make it, drop me a line or post a reply just so that we can get an idea of just how much food and drink to buy (and so that I can send you directions to our house). And if you want to bring something for the picnic, that's fine too. Just let me know so that we don't end up with a bunch of green bean cassaroles with French's dried onions on the top.

Danny and I are tenatively coming on Sun. Willing to help out with bringing food.

Yes I'm sure we could. Danny doesn't work for Kroger anymore but I still shop there on occasion.

Is this an adults only meet or will there be kids too?

I guess that I knew that. Sorry about that Juli. You don't have to bring buns. And they don't have to come from Kroger if you do bring some. No need to take your business there. :badpc:

Kids are most certainly welcome. We have an air hockey table and lots of video games in the basement and a big yard that (weather permitting) is a great place to play badmitton or croquet.

We'll be there!

Oogie....my 4 boys will be there. Sarah (and James, too) is great with all the kids. ::yes::

I will call you all from Disneyland!!! But truly will be sorry to miss the meet. It is a great time! For those that may have never been to one of the Memorial Day meets.... GO!!!!! You will not regret it.

Debbie

I will be there for sure!! If anyone does want to go to Cedar Point or Geauga Lake the Saturday before I would love to go.

Luis and I will be there for at least Sunday!!!! Happy to bring food, but I think given the drive it would have to be either a dessert or chips or anything that can easily make a 2 hour drive ;) Let me know what you think you'll need!

Ted and I will be there! Can't wait. Let us know what we can bring or how we can help. We are looking forward to it. Back from vaca on Saturday so it will be a great way to end our week.

Can't you and DH just skip church??? Do you think anyone would notice??? :earseek:

We'll be partying all day, so you can drop by any time. We'd love to see all of you again.

Less than two weeks to go. Yippee.

Well I'll probably skip but you know my dh.......so damn dedicated. :rotfl2:
We are planning to come over when we can so save some cookies for us and batten down the hatches, my boys, Sherry's boys.....good luck Sarah.! :)

I don't think we've decided if we are skipping church or not... sadly for us that would mean we wouldn't get there until 12:30 or 1 if we didn't skip

We'll decide soon though and we'll be there for sure at some point :)
