Jenn, Great to hear about the changes with Dive Quest, the lesson is that they do listen to the guest on those surveys and letters. We will most likely be diving where ever we can on the cruise. The big decision for us is wether or not to bring our own gear, I think we will rent. Will bring our own MFS and exposure suits. If you plan on diving the Pacific side remember it will be much colder and the vis less than the Caribbean side.

Money and time seem to be the limiting factors in life. You either have one or the other but usually not both.

Jen, I agree with Scott on the *themes*...since it's gonna be 14-days we can prob have as many themes as we want!! LOL!!!

How bout a "surfer" or "movie star/hollywood" theme when we're sailing to LA from Mexico?

Scott, not sure if we plan to go diving in the Pacific. Curacao for sure, but not sure about the Pacific side. When are you planning on coming down again to Florida Scott? If anyone is, please let Jeff and I know, we'll be more thna happy to meet you in the parks.
Jindy, I love the surfer theme! Or a Hollywood theme. Or even a Hollywood Disney theme, meaning glamming up our favorite Disney characters....
We still have 270+ days to figure this all out...

Hey-DCL could change the itinerary while we are on the ship!!!!
Last year while on a cruise we had a passenger get sick and since we were out of US waters they couldn't bring in the coast guard helicopter. They changed the whole itinerary!!! It was a mess, especially for those of us who had made our own shore excursions! (I guess that it one good reason to pay extra money and book through the cruise ship!). We got it worked out, thank goodness my cell phone was working and I was able to rearrange our rental cars and such.

I am thrilled about the drop on puerto what's its name. Am excited about Mazatlan. But like everyone says, I am sure there will be more changes before then!

Ok, so where do ya'll want to go? Do a dinner? lunch? meet for fireworks? what? I won't have my schedule for a week or so, but as soon as I know I will let you know.

One last thing, while I was cleaning the floors I came up with an idea. How about a new themed sail away party after we leave each port? Or something like that. Like a sailaway when we leave Curacao, the Canal and the last Mexican port?

I would vote for lunch or fireworks, or watching fish at Living Seas (it is cool in there), or a Mouse bar, fireworks works, would be fun. Will see what you schedule allows as we are on vacation.

The sailaway party theme is a great idea.

jen, that's a great idea. that way we don't go *overboard* (ha ha) with a random amount of themes...

tying the theme to the port is a smart idea!!

Peter IS Very Busy Building a $ 200 Million Dollar Hotel...We did have a $300,000 extra this week LoL.....

Since I Do not GET Paid Vacations I need to make up the time I will be missing While Im on my 7 day cruise in October .. Since Im a member of The I.U.O.E Local 4 I have to Work 1200 hours a Year in order to recieve a Pension credit and Health insurance for the Following year We pay for it a Year in Advance ..

And since I did not Work Until MAY of this year I will Work every hour I can NOW to make sure I hit 1200 before the end of the year.. my buddy Who im working with did not start work until
July So we are playying Catch up for Him Big time We figured it out and He has to Work every week until end of the year plus 187 Hours , So that is how many hours of ot we need before the end of the Year... Lol
I think the Guys(Suffolk Construction) That Im working for Are Very Happy with the Way things are going So far...

Hey Peter-you and my DH will have ALOT in common. He is with Operating Engineers Local #3. I know about all the no vacation thing. Anytime he can get OT, I am telling him to work! I'm a slave driver. But then I have to have him make up for those months sitting and waiting for the union call!

Luckily, he only had off 1 1/2 weeks this year so far. He will totally understand your email and be happy he has something in common with someone!

I finally understand when he tells me about the pile drivings. He had to drive me by the bridges on the freeway they were doing a couple of years ago so he could explain what they were!

With O.E. you only have to get 1000 hours a year, but we pay out on the insurance a year also. At least we have some banked in case he is not working.

Okay, enough about that!
